Description

from Ayo - Voices of Glory
Voices of Glory is a group of siblings who are on a mission to change the world through their unique style of singing, tight harmonies, and inspirational message. Michael, Avery, and Nadia Cole started singing together in 2005 after their mother, Felicia, was in a car collision with a drunk driver, placing her in a coma. Day after day, the trio would serenade their mother by her bed, until 8 months later, Felicia came out of her coma. After this experience, the group began to travel to nursing homes and hospitals in an effort to bring hope to other patients and their families, and they adopted the name "Voices of Glory."

In 2009, the group achieved national recognition when they made it to the Top 5 on the NBC hit show "America's Got Talent." After that, opportunities were plentiful. They were personally selected by Mr. Andy Williams to be in his annual Christmas Show.

"We have been given a unique opportunity to deliver a message of hope through our music," says oldest brother Michael Cole, "and it is a challenge that we do not take lightly."

If you like pop, jazz, gospel, and soul music, this is the show for you!

"Excellent signing."

The excellent singing makes up for the weird announcements mid-song of the instrumentals. Nadia was singing a very powerful rendition of "I'll Always Love You" when she stopped mid song to announce the upcoming guitar solo. The trio did this 5-6 times throughout their otherwise great performance - it takes away from the beauty of their singing. Most people know when an instrument solo has been played and will acknowledge it accordingly.

"More Nadia - an amazing voice!"

This is the 3rd year we’ve been to see their show. I have to say that we enjoyed last year’s production (2017) more than the show we just saw (Apr 2018), and this review is for the 2018 show we just saw. The pros: the band is first class, and Nadia’s voice is amazing. She did a fantastic job with both a Whitney Houston song, and a Glen Campbell song. There should be more Nadia in my opinion. The cons: the brothers are decent musicians, but nowhere near amazing. (And they are 2/3 of the show.) I found myself always waiting for more Nadia... I also didn’t enjoy many of the song selections this year, and then when the three sang together they did a lot of harmonizing, to the detriment of the song.
