Take a look at the exciting Table Rock Lake activities awaiting you and your family.

9 Table Rock Lake Activities for Non-Stop Fun

1. Swim at the Beach

Did you know Table Rock Lake boasts nearly 800 miles of shoreline? As such, the lake has several beaches for you to take advantage of. Bring your swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and cooler, and splash the day away at these Table Rock Lake beaches and public swimming areas:

  • Cape Fair
  • Moonshine Beach
  • Baxter
  • Aunts Creek
  • Campbell Point

Additionally, if you’re staying at a lakeside resort, such as Chateau on the Lake Resort, your accommodations may offer a private swimming area for guests.

2. Cast Your Line and Go Fishing

Fans of fishing love Table Rock Lake for the myriad of fish species, from bass to catfish. If you’re into competitive fishing, take part in one of the many tournaments scheduled all year long. Visitors can also charter a private fishing tour with a guide. Those who do not have their own fishing boat can rent one from Long Creek Marina for added convenience.

3.  Explore the Lake by Boat

Arguably the most popular of Table Rock Lake activities is boating. Rent a boat and head out on the water for a day of sun and fun! There are several marinas located around Table Rock Lake, including:

  • Table Rock State Park Marina
  • Rock Lane Marina
  • Indian Point Boat Dock

One of Table Rock Lake’s greatest treasures is the Showboat Branson Belle. This magnificent vessel is themed after steamboats from the 1800s and guides guests on a 2-hour cruise around Table Rock Lake. In addition to stunning lake views, the boat also offers an extraordinary show and three-course meal.

When you need a break from swimming or lounging lakeside, a cruise on the Showboat Branson Belle is exactly what you need. The level of entertainment and cuisine is unrivaled! Be sure to bring a jacket as the boat cruises rain or shine and the air conditioning inside can be a bit chilly.

5. Go Camping

When searching for outdoor Table Rock Lake activities, immerse yourself in the Ozarks by camping on the waterfront. There’s nothing more peaceful than setting up a tent next to a glistening lake.

Guests can choose from several campgrounds in and around Table Rock LAke. Two recommendations include Table Rock State Park or the Old Highway 86 Campground. Both areas offer basic, electric, and/or sewer/electric/water campsites for various types of camping. Table Rock State Park campsites are available from March 1st through November 30th, while Old Highway 86 Campground sites are offered from April 1st to October 30th. Advance reservations are required and camping fees are applied.
