The 15th KSMU Youth in Bluegrass Band Contest is also featured during the festival.

The 15th Annual KSMU Youth in Bluegrass Band Contest is scheduled for May 28, also at the Opera House Theater. Amateur entertainers 21 years of age or younger will be featured as they compete for top honors and cash prizes.
