Plunge into Kapau Plummet at White Water

Kapau Plummet is officially open at White Water! The Branson theme park will be the hot spot for adrenaline rushes and aquatic splashes, as the new ride promises top rate thrills.  Riders drop up to 26 feet per second as they slide down one of two 240-foot slides.  Sound like fun?  Read on for more details.

One of the reasons Kapau Plummet is such a rush is the floor drop.  Yes, you read that right.  As you stand in front of one of the two enclosed slides, a countdown begins until the floors drops!  This creates an outstanding freefall as you loop through the translucent tube slides until you splash down at the bottom.
The acrylic, translucent slides add a unique element.  When you’re preparing for your fall, you’ll be able to see where you’re falling.  Guests inside the park will also be able to see as people slip and slide through the tubes of Kapau Plummet.  With all of the components, I can easily see why this is White Water’s best thrill yet.  The name Kapau, which loosely means “The Next Big Thing” in Hawaiian, describes the ride perfectly.  See for yourself this summer at White Water Branson!
