Experience the nation’s longest-running outdoor drama! The Shepherd of the Hills is an action-packed live reenactment of Harold Bell Wright’s novel about life in the rugged Ozarks with themes of love, power and hardship. Over 90 actors and live animals perform on a stage the size of a football field. Pre-Show (add-on) includes a BBQ & Bluegrass Bash.

Standing at 230-foot tall, Shepherd of the Hills Inspiration Tower offers panoramic views over 90 miles away on clear days. From atop Inspiration Point, SW Missouri’s highest point, Inspiration Tower contains two glass elevators ready to whisk you to the spacious enclosed observation deck for stunning views in any season.
