"Review of two night stay"
March, 2015
My family and I enjoyed a two night stay at Village at Indian Point. Everything was clean and ready for use when we arrived. Also, staff was very accommodating with special requests. Having the kitchen fully stocked with plates, cups, silverware etc made it easier to have meals there which allowed us more time to enjoy the amenities. Overall, the cost of the two night stay was completely worth it and we will definitely be visiting again in the future!

"Self Catering "

Booking in Branson at the last minute is not recommended. This was one of the few places left when we booked. It came up as a hotel but it is a self catering condo/lodge. If you’re looking for a place to bring the family for a week this would work. As the other reviews state, get a room on the top floor if you put a premium on silence. We were on the second floor with children above us who were allowed to run from one end of the condo to the other at midnight. Every toilet flush, sneeze or other semi loud noises were heard from above and below. The mattress was hard. The quilt and blanket were quite worn. The pillows were not fluffy. The condo we were in was large and clean. Very well stocked with kitchen equipment. In unit washer and dryer too. There were both indoor and outdoor pools. You’ll want to bring all food stuffs with you. Not so much as a filter pack of coffee in the kitchen. It was a beautiful place just not what we were looking for or what we needed. I can’t give it more stars because of the noise level, comfort of the bed and wear n tear or the comforter and pillows.

My husband and I have been going to Branson for several years. And for several years we have been staying at Village at Indian Point. We love it there. We have stayed in different condos and have yet to have a bad experience. We brought our 2 youngest granddaughters to Branson during spring break and the Village was once again an excellent place to stay!

"Not the most amazing experience..."
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5

My husband and I visit Branson pretty often. We have stayed several places, including Village at Indian Point. The first experience was very pleasant. We had no issues with anything. This experience....not so much. When we first got here, my husband was asked to write his CC info on a piece of paper for the front desk. We, still, are not sure why this should ever need to be done. That made us a little worried. When checking out, my husband asked for that piece of paper back, but they said they have to keep it for their records. We will be canceling the card Monday. So, we get our keys and went to our room. It smelled AWFUL. Old, musky, moldy, just gross. So, we call the front desk and they explain to us that the room hasn’t been used in a while, and offered us an air freshener. I’m sorry, but no air freshener is going to fix this. So, we asked to switch rooms. We were told, sorry, but we still have a lot of people coming in, and nothing is available. So, we asked if we could just upgrade, because we couldn’t stand the smell. After 5 minutes or so, we were finally told that there was a 2 room condo available, that they would have someone check it and make sure it was ok. First of all, why wouldn’t the first room be checked before someone was put in it? It hasn’t been used in a while?! Not a good excuse. Next, you have to send someone to check the new room to make sure it’s ok?! Why do you not know?! So, we get to the next room. It smelled fine, and seemed way better than the first. Way nicer furniture, and a much better porch. We were happy to see that. Until....we took a shower. In both bathrooms, both shower curtains had several mold spots on them. The master bath was beyond disgusting. This is very unsanitary, and could also cause some people health issues. On to the next thing. The internet. Not ONCE were we able to get connected to WiFi. In fact, the WiFi we had to use wouldn’t even show up on our devices for us to connect to. After several attempts, we gave up. Before we checked our, we found the router, and it had been unplugged. Makes sense....Needless to say, we will never stay, again. We hate it, because 2 years ago, we did have a pleasant experience, and really thought it would be just as great. Hopefully these issues will be looked into for future guests.
