"Best home away from home"
March, 2015
We had a terrific time in a 2-bedroom, 2 bath suite for our family of 6. I don't think I could go back to a traditional hotel without a full kitchen and all the amenities of home. It gets stressful and expensive eating out throughout the trip and I was grateful that we could bring our own food and not have to haul pots, pans, dishes, etc. I can't imagine how hard the maids must work to get what is basically an apartment clean every day. The pool is quite small but luckily when we went, we were the only ones using it. Full breakfast every morning (thank you, Charlotte) and appetizers/light dinner served three nights a week. We won't stay anywhere else!

Tip: The two-bedroom suite has a fold-out couch to make a double (we were expecting two queens in one of the rooms like the Residence Inn in Springfield, but they don't have those rooms). The rooms do have fireplaces, though, and lots of amenities so we can't complain!

We had a 2 Bedroom Suite with pull out couch in the living area. Kitchen with Microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator. Very clean. Great service, clean towels each day. The Complimentary Breakfast each morning was Great. 1st morning Bacon, Biscuits, Sausage Gravy! Waffles, toast, sweet rolls, fruit, oatmeal, Dry Cereal, juices, coffees, tea, milk. More than I can remember. Second morning Sausage links, pancakes plus all previously listed. Just great accommodations. Our family of 4 Adults and 3 Children was so pleased!

We stayed for one night with our two small children - just one night but it definitely met our needs. Our room was far from the elevators and was quiet, even though we could tell the hotel was busy. The bedroom was small and just barely fit our baby’s pack-and-play, but it worked and was nice to have the separate area for her to sleep while the others were still up. WiFi was spotty but we got it to work. The only thing we noticed was the ice maker is kind of loud if you’re sleeping in the living room, so we will remember to turn it off next time. We will stay there again.

"Disappointed in this Marriott brand hotel"

I am a Marriott elite member and have stayed at many Marriott hotels over the years. I was very disappointed in this particular hotel. The a/c was semi working but the entire hotel was very hot! When we called to ask about getting the a/c fixed they said that they just had someone look at it and it was running fine. Our room stayed around 82 degrees the entire stay.

Our room was very clean. We arrived and the staff advised us that they were serving complimentary food and we could get something to eat till 7:30 PM. Becky was our housekeeper and she did a great job throughout our stay. When we left, I asked the front desk person (Eileen) if she could help us with a reservation that I was having trouble with. She got the job done..we loved the staff at this hotel. We will be back next year for our family reunion and this is where we will stay. The beds were comfortable and we were close to everything without all the traffic of Branson.

Stayed 2 nights in 2 bed 2 bath suite for 6 people. Room was so so, clean but not the cleanest. Some crumbs left on chair by previous guest. As was pointed out in other reviews, doors not closing properly as they are not aligned. Grout was coming out of the tiles just by walking on it, at one point I even stepped on one. On second night, there were only 4 towels and no refill of shampoo by housekeeping (mind you there were SIX people in our room), as was booked. Went to front desk to ask--all the bath towels are GONE and are still in laundry at 830pm??!! Had to get towels (smaller ones) from the swimming pool. TV didn't work, I had to reset the set top box on two TVs. All phones in the rooms didn't have dial tone--for all the problems we encountered I had to use my mobile phone to call front desk at least 5 times in the 2 nights we stayed. I reported the phones at least 3 times to two different people and nothing was done. Wifi connection didn't work the first night until I was given an access code--was told "too many people connecting". I expected better amenities from a Marriott property, especially for a premium price paid. The check in lady was nice, but the check out lady wasn't at all interested in our stay and seemed in a hurry to just check us out without asking anything about our stay--there was no one behind me nor a line--NO ONE. Would think about other choices next time we come back to Branson.
