White Water is getting a $3 million makeover this spring, right in time for their summer opening on May 21st. The makeover includes the creation of the tropical river adventure Aloha River at Hula Hula Bay and an expanded toddler area. This expansion is the biggest change since the water park opened in 1980 in Branson.
Aloha River at Hula Hula Bay replaces the Lazy River. Aloha River is described as an 805-foot winding river as an interactive river ride.
The new area will have a Polynesian theme, reminiscent of South Pacific jungles surrounding a river where tube riders will float calm waters through tropical greenery and then find themselves in the midst of exciting twists and turns, water features, fountains and misters. Along the way, guests will find new seating areas and cabanas for riverside relaxing.
The toddler area has been expanded by about 30%. This expansion was due to customer need and response, as many guests were stating they wanted more for their little ones to do at White Water Branson MO.
The Branson water park is also adding nights to its summer event – White Water’s Night Water. On Friday and Saturday nights, between July 1-August 13, the park will stay open until 10pm.
White Water tickets are on sale now.
