White Water Named One of the Best Water Parks in America

Visitors to Branson, Missouri know White Water is one of the top water parks in the country.  Apparently, Fodor Travel thinks so too as the park has landed on the company’s list of the nation’s 10 Best Water Parks.  Ranking at No. 5, White Water is definitely the best place to cool off this summer in Branson.

The full list of the best water parks in the United States:
1. Noah’s Ark – Wisconsin Dells, WI
2. Schlitterbahn – Kansas City, KS
3. Splashin’ Safari – Santa Claus, IN
4. Water World – Denver, CO
5. White Water Park – Branson, MO
6. Water Country USA – Williamsburg, VA
7. Raging Waters San Dimas – San Dimas, CA
8. Dollywood’s Splash Country – Pigeon Forge, TN
9. Wet ‘n Wild – Orlando, FL
10. Kalahari Resort – Wisconsin Dells, WI
Fodor’s is one of the largest publishers of travel guides and information.  The travel guides website stated that while White Water Branson is smaller than some of the other parks on the list, it makes up for its lack of size with incredible attractions like the all-new drop slide KaPau Plummet as well as attractions visitors of all ages can enjoy.  Moreover, Fodor’s chose White Water as a top water park because it is a “well organized, family-centered park.”  Splashaway Cay, for instance, features geysers and aqua shooters in a fort-like atmosphere with multiple slides.  It’s the perfect place for little tykes to play.  Other popular attractions at the Branson water park include the 800 foot Aloha River, the 500,000 gallon Surf’s Up Wave Pool and the seven-story super slide at Kalani Towers.
White Water is also a visitor favorite as it hosts various special events throughout the summer.  Currently with White Water tickets guests are treated to Dive-In Movies every Friday night.  In addition, there are Red, White and Boom Fireworks shows every Friday and Saturday night.  Both of these events coincides with Night Water at White Water, during which the park is open from 10am to 10pm.

Reserve White Water tickets to dive into summer fun in the Ozarks.
