August 4:  Celebrity Grill-Off at Big Creek Lodge
Big Cedar chefs face-off for the title of Top Grill Chef. Come encourage your favorites on the Swimmin’ Hole Lawn for this free event between 2-3pm.
August 6-12:  Vintage Camper Week

August 9-11:  Summer Cruise Show ‘N Shine
This annual premier car event is held at The Shepherd of the Hills Historic Homestead. Over 500 cars and trucks will be on display. Get all the details on pricing and registration on their website.
August 18:  Guns & Hoses Tournament
The 4th annual fishing tournament to benefit the Branson Fire and Police auxiliary funds will be held on Lake Taneycomo. The entry fee for 2-man teams is $75 and Lilleys’ Landing will be offering 50% off of boat rentals.
August 24-26:  Branson Fiddle Festival
This annual festival in downtown Branson attracts fiddlers from all across the country. Take part in a free kick-off jam session, demonstrations, strolling performers, workshops and a Saturday night “Square Dance.”
August 24 – September 3:  Southern Gospel Picnic at Silver Dollar City
Enjoy 11 days of Southern gospel music and southern cooking during the Southern Gospel Picnic. Catch hundreds of performances throughout the park from some big names like Booth Brothers, Jeff & Sheri Easter, Karen Peck & New River, The Isaacs and more.
August 29:  Def Leppard and Poison in Concert
