Upcoming April Events in Branson

By April, most of the new 2012 shows are open along with many of the attractions in town. Avoid the heat and crowds of the summer and enjoy beautiful Branson in the spring.

Below are upcoming events for April:

April 1: Centennial History Museum Opening
Celebrate 100 years at the Centennial History Museum openingin Historic Downtown Branson. Call 417-334-4084 for more info.
April 5-7: Easter Celebration at Silver Dollar City
Silver Dollar City is celebrating Easter with live musical performances and an Easter egg hunt. See The Punches Family, The Petersens, and Spoken 4 Quartet perform.
April 8: Easter Sunday Champagne Brunch
Chateau on the Lake is hosting an Easter brunch from 11-3. Sample the omelet station, shellfish, carved meats, and much more. Adults $45; kids 5-12 $22. Call 888-333-5253 for reservations.
April 12: WorldFest Begins at Silver Dollar City
Don’t miss America’s largest international festival. WorldFestruns April 12 – May 6 at Silver Dollar City. See amazing performances from all over the world along with topnotch international cuisine.
April 14: A Night to Remember: An Original Musical Tribute to Titanic
Come to the Titanic Museum in Branson for the 100th anniversary of the night the ship struck an iceberg on its maiden voyage. Enjoy live music and see actual descendents of Titanic’s passengers and crew. Festivities begin at noon.
April 14: Chef’s Chili Cook-Off at Big Cedar Lodge
Sample chili from regional chefs from 1-4 in the Grandview Conference Center. Vote for your favorite chili and have a chance at a guest drawing every 30 minutes. Cash bar available. Tickets $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
April 20-22: Branson Elvis Festival
Come to Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater for the 6th annual Elvis Festival. Activities include an Elvis Vendor Village, an Elvis movie showing, Elvis karaoke nights, and an Elvis meet & greet dinner. Tickets start at $25.
April 20-22: Earth Day Festivities
Join Big Cedar Lodge as they celebrate Earth day with various activities, including the Lakeshore Clean-Up Project, scavenger hunt, yoga walk, and tips for maintaining a healthy diet.
April 25-26: See The World In Branson Music Fest
Come to the Welk Resort to see over 40 booths representing 30 different countries. Catch a glimpse into various cultures without having to leave Branson. In addition, see a sampling of Branson shows and meet Branson entertainers.

  1. We visited Branson and found out there is a child care service so we could go to a show one night without the kids!! The Nannies come to you! We loved this service. Just because it was a family vacation didn't mean we couldn't have one night on our vacation to have adult time!
