The Track Family Fun Parks Celebrate 30th Anniversary with $3 Million Expansion

The Track Family Fun Parks in Branson, Missouri are celebrating their 30th Anniversary with a $3 million expansion. The Tracks will spend the $3 million over the course of two years on building two new tracks, including what will be known as Heavy Metal High Rise, expanding their current buildings and adding other family-friendly attractions. The construction is focused on Track #3, which will be the location of classic-style go-kart track, and at Track #4, which will feature the Heavy Metal High Rise track.
Heavy Metal High Rise is the latest addition to The Track’s high-rise family. The Lumberjack track currently calls Track #5 home, while the Wild Wood track is located at Track #3. They were built in 2001 and 2002, respectively. The Heavy metal High Rise Track is a state-of-the-art steel and concrete track and will offer a different experience than its counterparts. It will be 1,200 linear feet long and will contain over 200 tons of steel and 700 cubic yards of concrete. Riders will spiral up four stories before zooming down a three-tiered slope back to the ground. Heavy Metal High Rise is set to have a rock ‘n roll theme. It is expected to open in March.
The new classic track at Track #3 will be a road-style course that features tighter and higher banked curves. There will be more turns and more elevation changes on this track and the capacity of the track will be higher than most, allowing for a total of 20 single-rider and 10 double-rider go-carts. The main building at Track #3 will expand by 3,000 square feet, giving guests more than 5,500 total square feet of arcade games and indoor fun.
The Tracks are a Branson staple and remain some of the most popular Branson attractions in the area. The Go-Card is a terrific option for families, as it comes loaded with 95 credits (tickets) that are valid at all of The Track Family Fun Parks in Branson and Kids Kountry. The 95 credits are good for high-rise or classic go-karts, bumper boats/cars, mini golf, laser tag, arcades and the Ozark Mountain Sky coaster and The G-Force Drag Race Simulator.
