Shepherd of the Hills Trail of Lights a Branson Holiday Tradition

Take your family on a tour of the Trail of Lights for an enchanting drive through the Shepherd of the Hills Homestead.  The Branson Christmas event is a tradition for many and is a top attraction to add to your Branson vacation experience.  A Branson holiday vacation isn’t complete without a tour through the Shepherd of the Hills Trail of Lights.  Read on to find out why.

Winding through the 160-acres of the Shepherd of Hill’s, you’ll find a variety of beautiful, holiday-themed light displays along the way. This is the 24thyear the Shepherd of the Hills has produced the Trail of Lights, and it is a seasonal staple of Ozark Mountain Christmas.  The Trail of Lights features more than 100 animated displays and over 4 million lights.

Grab a cup of coffee or cocoa, then enjoy the warmth of the colorful light displays from the warmth of your own car.  Traveling through more than a dozen themed areas, including a Victorian Village and Winter Wonderland, families get a real sense of the joy of the season. Plus, Trail of Lights tickets include a trip inside Inspiration Tower, where guests can get a birds-eye-view of the twinkling lights from 230-feet.

If you’d like to experience more of a country Christmas at the homestead reserve tickets for Christmas on the Trail.  A hearty, Christmas dinner, served straight off of a vintage 1800’s chuckwagon will fill you up before you gather round the campfire for a true cowboy Christmas.  Included with your tickets is a tour of the Trail of Lights, so you get the best of both holiday worlds.
