Ricky Skaggs returns to Branson, Missouri for a one-time only performance.  Scheduled for November 17, 2013, Skaggs will take the stage at the RFD-TV Theater at 3pm.  The concert is being presented by Up Close Concerts. 

Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder will play is country hits and some bluegrass favorites, creating an engaging production showcasing the talents that have won Skaggs 14 Grammy awards.  Beginning his career in 1960 after being discovered by bluegrass legends Bill Monroe, Skaggs has performed on the stage of the Grand Old Opry before the age of 17.  He primarily plays mandolin but is also skilled on the fiddle, guitar, mandocaster and banjo.
Some of Skaggs’ most legendary tunes include “You May See Me Walkin’,” “Country Boy,” “I’ll Take the Blame,” and “Don’t Get Above Your Raising.”
