The much-anticipated Promised Land Zoo has officially opened in Branson, Missouri.  Dozens of different species of animals call Promised Land Zoo home.  Located on five acres, which is relatively small for a zoo, the attraction maximizes the experience with a foot safari, petting zoo and all sorts of interactive exhibits.  Intimate encounters with baby animals and education are a primary focus of the Promised Land Zoo.

One of the best features at the zoo is the Jungle Josh show.  He introduces and educates guests on several different animals before taking them on an animal petting expedition.  The shows are held at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.  Bottle feedings are also hosted at 10am, 2pm and 6pm.  Visitors can feel baby camels, baby bison baby goats and a zookeeper bottle feeds at baby lion daily at 10am.

A few unique animals are featured at Promised Land Zoo too.  Sloths, a hyena and even spider monkeys can be found at the zoo.  Exhibits like Parakeet Paradise are a real standout as visitors are treated to up-close experiences with colorful  and exotic birds.  During other animal encounters, guests can spend time with young and rare animals like baby monkeys and kangaroos.

Promised Land Zoo is open seven days a week from 10am to 7pm.
