Plans Under Way for Branson Veterans Week

The 2010 Veterans Homecoming Week is scheduled for November 5-11, 2010 in Branson, Missouri. Plans are well underway, with Dalena Ditto organizing both the opening and closing ceremonies.

The opening ceremony will be held at Sight and Sound Theatre on November 5 at 12:30pm. The closing ceremony is set for 2:30pm on November 11 at Tri-Lakes Center.
Events throughout the week include mini-reunions for WWII, Koreans War, Vietnam, Gulf War and women veterans, the 235th Marine Corps Birthday Ball, Tony Orlando’s “Yellow Ribbon Salute” and the 76th Annual Veterans Day Parade. The day room will once again be open at the Factory Merchants Mall from 9am-6pm, and is a place for vets to gather in between attending events.
Branson Veterans Week is one of the nation’s largest veteran’s events and is widely popular.
