Branson continues to be a popular vacation destination due to the variety of new things to do each year. 

Here’s what’s new in Branson for 2012:
    • Titanic Museum Branson: Throughout the year, the Titanic Museum is paying respect to and honoring the 2,209 passengers and crew members aboard the RMS Titanic with an ongoing series of special events, activities and ceremonies.
    • Sight and Sound Theatres: Joseph is an all-new production at the Sight and Sound Theater in Branson MO.  The show features the timeless story of Joseph and the power of forgiveness.  Experience a cast of 45 professional adult and children actors, dozens of live animals gracing the aisles, several amazing dream sequences including Joseph in his colorful coat “flying” over the audience, larger-than-life staging which includes a spectacular Egyptian palace scene spanning 300 feet and wrapping around three sides of the audience, plus, twenty original songs
    • It” at Hughes Brothers Theatre: Where over 50 singers, dancers and musicians create a new entertainment experience. The award-winning cast features the Hughes Brothers and their families.
    • The Finalists: Featuring five top 10 American Idol finalists on the Moon River stage. You will see and hear your favorite AI singers live and up-close.
    • The Official Tribute: Songs of the Four Seasons and The Beach Boys: Debuting at Branson Variety Theatre in March, go on a musical journey of sun, surf, cars and girls as these incredible singers and dancers pay tribute to the incomparable harmonies of two of the greatest American Rock and Pop Bands of all times – The Four Seasons and The Beach Boys.
    • The Miniature Pet Circus: Singing Ringleaders, Acrobats, Jugglers, Clowns Magic and the adorable Miniature Pet Circus runs May through August at Branson Variety Theatre.
    • Andy Williams 75th Year in Show Business: Come celebrate Andy’s 75 years of entertaining the world in 2012! Guest stars coming in the Fall include Dick Van Dyke, Jack Jones, Pat and Debby Boone and many more.
  • New Dewey Short Visitor’s Center to Open in Spring: On April 2012, a new Dewey Short Visitor Center near Table Rock Dam, off Missouri State Highway 165, will open. A 15,000-square-foot visitor center will feature an auditorium, gift shop and educational area for exhibits and conference rooms. The lake itself will also become part of the new exhibit experience.
