The legendary Moon River Theater in Branson, Missouri is hosting a variety of shows this year. In keeping with the tradition of Andy Williams’ legacy, the theater is promoting entertainers who showcase true talents that appeal to those of all ages. Oh What a Night, a musical tribute to Frankie Vali and the Four Seasons, is performing now through June 1. They will return this fall for show dates set for September 3 through October 24. Hits like Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like A Man, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, My Eyes Adored You, Working My Way Back To You, Let’s Hang On and Who Loves Youare just some of the many hits you’ll enjoy from the dynamic songbook of those boys from Jersey.
The Cat’s Pajamas Vocal Band performs on select dates now through December at the Moon River Theater. The group, which has performed on NBC’s The Sing Off, creates the full sound of a band bringing a modern a cappella twist to their selection of chart-topping, timeless hits spanning the last 60 years.
Liverpool Legends offers the complete Beatles experience to Branson visitors. Group members were hand-picked by George Harrison’s sister Louise, and she chose talented musicians and vocalists who not only sound and look like the Fab Four but mimic their mannerisms and talking voices as well. June through August you can see Liverpool Legends perform all your favorite Beatles hits!
Moon River Weekends will feature a series of performances by national entertainers on weekends during September and October. The line-up so far is rather impressive with Rich Little, Lee Greenwood, Clint Black and Randy Travis slated to perform.
Daniel O’Donnell is an international star who is a highlight for many of the Branson Christmas season. He teams with Mary Duff to perform Irish ballads, country and gospel favorites. The Moon River Theater hosts O’ Donnell November through December.
The Andy Williams Christmas Show continues the legacy of Mr. Christmas. This year’s show will feature the Osmonds and the Lennon Sisters, as well as many other talented performers. A moving tribute to Andy Williams is also planned.
