Missouri Food & Wine Festival Returns to Branson

The 3rd Annual Missouri Food & Wine Festival returns to Chateau on the Lake Resort in Branson, Missouri April 29-30, 2011. This festival is the largest annual food event in Branson and is also one of the biggest in the state. Featuring entertainment, seminars, cooking demonstrations and celebrity appearances, the Missouri Food and Wine Festival is the place to be for foodies.

Some of the unique events planned include an “Iron Chef” style Kitchen Theatre where chef demos by The DJ Chef Marc Weiss will be performed, as well as a KSFX Performance Stage that will host seminars and book signings by The Lennon sisters and others. Competitions for “Chef of the Fest” and “Best of Missouri Wine Classic” will return and new competitions such as “Branson’s Best Pizza” and “Branson’s Best Burger” will be featured.
A special Vintner’s Dinner is also planned for April 30. The gourmet feast will be prepared by Chef Douglas Knopp of the Chateau Grill and will pair wines with five special culinary dishes.
Passes for the Missouri Food and Wine Festival in Branson are $24 for one day and $36 for a two day pass. The Vintner Dinner is not included with these passes.  Festival hours are from 2pm-9pm on Friday, April 29 and noon-9pm on Saturday, April 30.
