Due to unforeseen circumstances, this event has been cancelled.

4th Annual Holiday Promenade of Stars Parade will be hosted by Mario Lopez in Branson, MO. Scheduled for November 13, 2010, activities will begin at 10am at the Branson Landing with a pre-show, followed by the parade at 10:30am.

Lopez is known by many for his role on “Saved by the Bell,” as well as hosting the TV shows “Extra” and “America’s Best Dance Crew.” He has a new show – “Mario Lopez: Saved by the Baby” – set to debut on November 1 on VH1.

Gary Bartlett, producer of the parade, believes he will give additional exposure to the event. He estimates the parade will draw a crowd of 75,000.

The Grand Marshall of the parade is Andy Williams, another popular crowd pleaser. Co-hosts will be Carrie Tills and John Daly.

The parade will feature Branson Entertainers, including Bill Medley, along with giant helium balloons, area marching bands and professionally built floats.

The parade is also utilized as a fundraiser to help three local charities. Participants in the parade will pay a $100 entry fee, 100$ of which is donated to the charities, as well as 10% of the sponsorship money raised. The designated charities include the Boys & Girls Club of the Ozarks, Love INC., and Skaggs’s Foundation.

The Holiday Promenade of Stars will be nationally televised in Thanksgiving Day, with a rebroadcast scheduled for Christmas day. The parade program will air on RFD TV, RETRO Television Network, KSFX in Springfield, KOLR 10 (on Christmas Day) and The Vacation Channel.
