Branson Variety Theater to Reopen October 30

The Branson Variety Theater is set to reopen October 30, 2012.  The theater has been closed since the Leap Day Tornado, during which it received extensive damage.  The 1,600 seat theater has had repair bills in the millions of dollars as, according to general manager Danell Tennision.

Luckily, though, they will be open in time for the Branson Christmas season.  Visitors to the area can look forward to three exciting shows:
Christmas in Hollywood: Premiere Date – October 30
Sit back and enjoy classic moments from some of Hollywood’s greatest Christmas movies brought to life on stage in this wonderful show.

The Official Tribute – The Songs of The Four Seasons and The Beach Boys: Premiere Date – October 31
Join this show for a musical journey of sun, surf, cars and girls as these incredible singers and dancers pay tribute to the incomparable harmonies of two of the greatest American Rock and Pop Bands of all times – The Four Seasons and The Beach Boys!

The Twelve Irish Tenors: Premiere Date – November 1
The Twelve Irish Tenors features twelve handsome, incredibly talented young men showcasing their exceptional harmonies while performing some of the greatest music of the 20th century. A touch of Irish charm is added to a cleverly constructed selection of Irish folk, big opera numbers, pop, swing, jazz and gospel, captivating audiences of all ages.
The Branson Variety Theater will open under a new name – The King’s Castle Theater.  Make plans to see one of these Branson shows during your holiday vacations to the Ozarks.
