Branson Shows Make Announcements for 2011 Season

Branson has some new shows on the scene and theater announcements for the 2011 season.

Todd Oliver, who has long been entertaining visitors on the Showboat Branson Belle, will be moving to the Jim Stafford Theater, along with his talented canine friends. The Branson Variety Theatre announced an all-new show – Hooray for Hollywood – which will use clips from movies and then bring them to life on stage using a great cast of singers and dancers. Movies such as “Singin’ in the Rain” and “The Lion King” will be featured.

Starlite Theater announced that Cirque Montage will return for the 2011 season with an expanded schedule. This show was very popular over the summer season and was a hit with families. Its 2011 season will start on Sunday, May 22 and run through September 21 with twice a day performances at 3pm & 8pm. Cirque Montage will conclude its 2010 season on September 26, 2010.
The Starlite Theater will also welcome the Righteous Brother Bill Medley back to the stage for the 2011 season, as well as The Texas Tenors. Bill Medley will perform September 1 through December 17 and The Texas Tenors from September 2 through December 8.
