Branson Named One of the Top Ten Friendliest Cities in America

Branson, Missouri was recently named one of the Top Ten Friendliest Cities in America by the readers of Condė Nast Traveler in its “2013 Annual Readers Choice Survey” along with other cities such as Asheville, North Carolina and Sonoma, California.  Southern hospitality shines in the Top 10, with all but three of the cities are in the South.

In summarizing why Branson was a top ten friendliest city, Condė Nast stated “A throwback to gentler times, Branson, Missouri, is a popular destination for visitors looking for a Southern twist on ‘great family entertainment for all ages.’” Newcomers to Branson also find themselves falling for the “good folk” who call the city home. “The people are terrific, the shows are fun, and the area is peaceful and beautiful,” says one fan of the area, which plays host to dozens of theaters, wineries, and tourist-friendly attractions. “Fun is at every turn.”
