Branson Honors Purple Heart Recipients

Branson is honoring Purple Heart recipients April 25-27, 2013.  The event, “Hand in Hand Branson Honors Purple Heart Recipients,” is one of the ways Branson shows its support and dedication to America’s veterans, active duty personnel and their families.  “Hand in Hand” specifically honors those who have received the Purple Heart for combat wounds received while serving.  This is the 5th year for the event.

Activity schedule for “Hand in Hand”:

Thursday, April 25
Registration: 8am – 12pm (noon) Coffee, cookies and fellowship.
Where: Factory Merchant’s Mall – Red Roof Mall, 1000 Pat Nash Drive, Branson, MO

Opening Ceremony: 2:00 – 4:30pm

Where: Hamner Barber Theatre 3090 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway, Branson, MO

Friday, April 26
Entertainment Show: 9:00 – 10:30am
Featuring the amazing talent from Branson entertainers and shows.
Where: Hamner Barber Theatre 3090 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway, Branson, MO

Lake Taneycomo Sight Seeing Cruise: 11:30am
Where: Main Street Lake Cruises – Branson Landing

Fishing Tournament: 12:00pm
Where: Scotty’s Dock & Marina 500 South Boxcar Willie Dr Branson

Fish Fry: 6:00pm
Free for Purple Heart Recipients and $10 for spouses, significant others and the general public.
Where: Shepherd of the Hills Expressway Outdoor Theatre 5586 W Hwy 76, Branson, MO

Saturday, April 27
Copper Run Distillery: 9:00am
Where: Meeting at Branson Tourism Center 220 Branson Hills Parkway, Branson, MO

Motorcycle Run:  Registration at 9:30am

Closing Ceremony:  2:30pm
