Branson Fiddle Festival Set for First Weekend in August

The Downtown Branson Fiddle Festival has announced dates for 2014.  This year the 26th Downtown Branson Fiddle Festival and Mid-American Fiddlers Championship will be held August 2-3.  Hosting the Branson Fiddle Festival the first weekend of August makes attending the festival more convenient for both competitors and visitors. 

Garnering national attention, the Branson Fiddle Festival has been added to the top three outstanding Fiddle Festivals in the United States. 

Registration for the Mid-American Fiddlers Championship begins at 8:30am on August 2, with competition held from 10am-5pm, Finals will take place on August 3 from 11am-5pm.  More than $7,000 in cash prices will be awarded.  There is no entry fee for the championship. The Fiddling competition will be in the “Ozarks Music & Culture Tent” in Historic Downtown behind Dick’s 5 & 10.
Daily tickets to the Branson Fiddle Festival are $3 for adults, $1.50 for kids ages 4-12 and children 3 and under are free.
