May 4: Taylor Hicks
“American Idol” winner Taylor Hicks takes the stage at Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater to perform fan favorites from his R&B, southern rock catalog.

May 6-8: Founder’s Day Weekend at Silver Dollar City
The first annual Founders’ Weekend Celebration commemorates Silver Dollar City‘s May 1, 1960 opening with special activities and events including the grand opening on the all-new Echo Hollow Show “Hits from the Hollow,” and a Sunday morning Worship Celebration with special guests Rhonda Vincent, Hosea Bilyeu and Family, Mike Patrick and New South, Nedgra Culp and Cassandre Faimo-Haygood.

May 6-7: Branson Gospel Reunion
This unique, one-of-a-kind show will feature 2016 Starlite Theater newcomers The Blackwood Singers, as well as the addictive comedy of Paul Harris, a comic legend in Branson.  Guests will also enjoy the exceptionally talented cast of “Sunday Gospel Nights”, including duo Gary Koreiba and Kim Boyce, and many other exceptional gospel talents. Located at the Starlite Theater.

May 5-30: Bluegrass & Barbeque Festival at Silver Dollar City
Don’t miss one of the premier Bluegrass and Barbeque festivals in the nation. There will be plenty of bluegrass performers from all over the country during this Silver Dollar City festival. The House of BBQ (Red Gold Heritage Hall) will be serving up plenty of mouthwatering BBQ.

May 11: Terri Clark
Clark’s albums have accounted for more than 20 singles, including six #1′s. “If I Were You,” “Poor Poor Pitiful Me,” “Emotional Girl,” “Girls Lie Too,” and “In My Next Life” all topped the country charts. Clark performs at Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater.

May 19: Jammin’ at Area ’57
From 12-2pm Area ’57 is hosting a traditional Ozark picnic in the park with a jam session thrown in.

May 27: The Roots & Boots Tour
Join Aaron Tippin, Sammy Kershaw and Collin Raye for a star-studded performance featuring all their chart-topping hits at the Welk Resort Theatre.

May 29: Chateau on the Lake Memorial Day Celebrations
Chateau on the Lake hosts a fireworks and BBQ event this Memorial Day. Make your room reservations early and enjoy a weekend full of activities.
