Branson Landing’s 3rd Annual School Shoes for Kids!

Please join us this year in our community outreach program “School Shoes for Kids,” providing school children in need with brand new tennis shoes to start the new school year! It’s easy to sponsor a child simply purchase a NEW pair of children’s tennis shoes and drop them off at one of the Branson Landing Sponsor locations. This year, Branson Landing has partnered with On-Media and PETER PAN and for each pair of shoes donated, the donor will receive one FREE 2009 Child’s Admission Ticket to see the amazing Cathy Rigby in PETER PAN at The Mansion Theatre – as our way of saying THANK YOU! With your donation, together we can make a real difference for the children of Stone and Taney County School Systems. 2009 Colgate Country Showdown at Branson Landing

The 28th Annual Colgate Country Showdown is coming to Branson Landing this year! KHOZ 102.9 will host America’s largest country music talent search and radio promotion this year, right in front of the Branson Landing Fountains! For 27 years, the Colgate Country Showdown has given aspiring country music artists a chance to launch their professional careers and this year, they will have their chance to perform for you at Branson Landing. The Master of Ceremonies for the Colgate Country Showdown will be Clay Cooper from the Clay Cooper Theatre. The show will also feature MC – Clay Cooper and his band, The Country Music Express Band – AND… the band will also be providing the backup for the contestants. Clay Cooper has been performing in Branson for years and In 2005, Clay decided to put together a show of his own – which can now be found at The Clay Cooper Theatre. Clay Cooper’s Country Music Express is an all-new, high energy show full of great singing, dancing, comedy and much more. Exile Reunion In Concert At Branson Landing

Admission: Registration fees for children are $80 and adults $115.
An entertaining and educational experience for anyone who would like to learn how to become a clown or magician. Clown Jam is very proud to host Kid Jam which is 3 day event designed for children 10-15. They are taught makeup, skits, balloons and magic. For graduation, they perform on the evening show.
Each registration includes two banquets and two shows. Registration is open to the public. There is an additional public show on Wednesday the 15th that is $10 adults and $5 for kids.

Branson Landing 2nd Annual Downtown Clown A’round!

We will be celebrating Kids of all Ages – by turning the Branson Landing Promenade into a Festival of Fun for Everyone! With Clowns all A’Round the Landing, you and your family will also experience a wonderland of huge interactive inflatables from Monkey Moe’s! Check out the likes of a Monkey Barrel Bounce, Rescue Heroes Play Area, Bungee Run, RipCurl Slide, Adrenaline Rush, Obstacle Courses and much, much more! In addition to celebrating Kids of all Ages – we will also celebrate and thank 10+ Local, Not for Profit Charities for all of their dedication and hard work in helping those less fortunate in our area with assistance, food, education and more. These charities will be on hand assisting with the operation of the inflatable activities and 100% of the proceeds received from these inflatables – will be given to these charities. It is together, that we can create a memorable day for all AND also join in the combined efforts of helping those less fortunate.

Titanic Father’s Day Boat Show

The number one best selling aluminum fishing boats in the world will be on display when The Titanic Museum Attraction launches its Father’s Day Boat Show in the Titanic parking lot. This special Father’s Day event will salute the man-of-the-house who may be dreaming of owning his first fishing boat or looking to move-up to something different, like a Suntracker pontoon boat, the official pontoon boat of Walt Disney World. Other Tracker boats on display will be Nitro bass boats and Tahoe sport boats. It’s a time for celebration Tracker Marine is celebrating over 30 years of building boats in the Ozarks and the Titanic Museum Attraction is celebrating its 4th year honoring those who built and sailed the biggest boat of them all, Titanic.

Late Show with David Letterman Stupid Human Tricks & Stupid Pet Tricks Casting Call

Join KOLR 10 (Springfield), KSFM (Ft. Smith) and KHTV (Little Rock) at Branson Landing on Saturday, June 27th, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. for The LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN Stupid Human Tricks & Stupid Pet Tricks Casting Call! No purchase is necessary. This casting call is open to all ages. However, participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian must chaperone and sign a release waiver. Participants will have the chance to be selected to perform their trick on the Late Show with David Letterman. You must arrive at the casting call between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The casting call is based on a first come, first serve basis, so pre-registration will not guarantee an audition. The last audition will take place promptly at 2:00 p.m. Auditions will take place outside in front of the Branson Landing Fountains. If you are participating in the Stupid Pet Tricks Casting Call, please take note of the following: bring water for your pet, pets must be under the control of the owner at all times prior to the casting call (leash, crate, etc.), and owner must provide proof of all current vaccinations. Participants selected by The LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN personnel will receive a free trip to New York, a payment for their appearance on the show, and a chance to perform their trick on the stage of the Ed Sullivan Theater in front of millions of LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN viewers.
