A balloon flight normally lasts about 45-60 minutes in the air. During this time, you will be surrounded by the beauty of the other balloons and the majestic rolling hills of the Ozarks. Not only will you get the opportunity to fly, but you will get to watch the pilot and crew inflate the balloon. You must reserve your balloon flight in advance. Cost is $250 per person. Allow at least 3 hours total time for the entire experience from start to finish.
Even if you’re not planning on riding in a hot air balloon, you should still attend this event for all of the activities available – including the balloon glow. Around dusk, you’ll see all of the hot balloons illuminating like candles. It’s a gorgeous sight and, for us, is the highlight of the event.
Tandem Skydiving is new for this year’s event. If you’ve always wanted to try this extreme activity, where better than Branson? Sign up now to experience the rush of jumping out of plane at 10,000 feet. The free-fall is an adrenaline-pumping rush, while the feeling of flying is a breathtaking, unforgettable moment. Cost is $250 per person.
The Branson Balloon Festival is free to the public. Location for the event is the Branson RecPlex at 1500 Branson Hills Parkway.
