The dazzling twinkle of over 4 million lights sets the park aglow, and the festive decorations brings the true meaning of the season home. The celebration begins at Silver Dollar City’s Square, which is the setting for Christmas on Main Street, SDC’s biggest light show ever. Their beautiful 5-story special effects Christmas tree sparkles and dances in unison with over one million lights adorning the City’s square and is a breathtaking sight to see.
The Gifts of Christmas Holiday Light Parade is presented twice each evening, and features an array of characters emblazoned in over 100,000 lights. Shows like The Living Nativity and Frosty! are planned, and Santa himself will be available at Kringles Krossing.
Silver Dollar City’s top holiday show, A Dickens’ Christmas Carol, is an original musical adaptation of the famous classic by Charles Dickens. It features a live band, astounding special effects, beautiful Victorian scenery and period costuming, and the inspiring story of redemption and hope.
Silver Dollar City’s rides and attractions will also be open during this event, weather permitting, so visitors will be able to enjoy Wildfire and The Giant Swing while they celebrate the season.
Lunch with Santa is also going to be offered during An Old Time Christmas. Located at the Reunion Hall, visitors can eat lunch with Santa and have their picture taken with him. This activity does cost extra and is not included with park admission. The cost is $18.99 for adults (12 +) and $14.99 for children (ages 4-11).
