AirTran Airways Expands Services at Branson Airport

AirTran and the Branson Airport have announced new nonstop service to Branson from Baltimore/Washington, Chicago (Midway) and Houston. The service will begin in May. Officials say the expanded service comes in response to increased demand from customers wanting easier access to the Branson area.
Last year, Branson welcomed 8 million visitors who take in an array of entertaining Branson shows and enjoyed the various Branson attractions available.
The following nonstop flights between Branson and Baltimore/Washington will be available beginning May 28, 2011:
Baltimore/Washington to Branson: Flight Number 1578
Departs – 10:15 a.m. Arrival – 11:46 a.m.
Frequency – Every Saturday
Branson to Baltimore/Washington: Flight Number 1579
Departs – 4:13 p.m. Arrival – 7:37 p.m.
Frequency – Every Saturday

The following nonstop flights between Branson and Chicago will be available beginning May 27, 2011:

Chicago to Branson: Flight Number 1591
Departs – 3:46 p.m. Arrives – 5:20 p.m.
