Sight and Sound Theater in Branson Missouri is debuting an all-new show in 2012. 

The theater, which has been home to Noah The Musical since opening in 2008, is premiering the story of Joseph April 14, 2012.  Sight & Sound’s depiction of this classic story will magnify the many qualities that make this story appeal to all ages. Experience a cast of 45 professional adult and children actors, dozens of live animals gracing the aisles, several amazing dream sequences including Joseph in his colorful coat “flying” over the audience, larger-than-life staging which includes a spectacular Egyptian palace scene spanning 300 feet and wrapping around three sides of the audience, plus, twenty original songs.  Joseph will perform in Branson through December 29, 2011.

Branson theaters are changing their entertainment line-ups for the 2012 season.

Some of the Branson shows that will be found at new locations include The Haygoods, 3 Redneck Tenors, Todd Oliver, Red Hot & Blue, Buck Trent, and Joey Riley.
The Haygoods are moving their show from the American Theatre to the RFD-TV Theater.  They will also star in a reality music show for RFD-TV.  The Haygoods will continue to own and operate the American Theatre, though, and Cassandre and Elvis tribute artist Joseph Hall will continue their shows at the Americana.  Those two shows will be joined by the 3 Redneck Tenors and Todd Oliver.  The 3 Redneck Tenors currently perform at The Mansion Theater and Todd Oliver currently performs at the Jim Stafford Theater.
Red, Hot & Blue – a mainstay on the Branson show schedule – are moving from the Americana Theatre to the Clay Cooper Theater.

Buck Trent, who currently performs at the Clay Cooper Theater, is moving his show to the RFD-TV Theater. 

The Music City Centre, currently home to Doug Gabriel and illusionist Taylor Reed, welcomes Joey Riley in 2012.

Silver Dollar City’s top holiday show, A Dickens’ Christmas Carol, is an original musical adaptation of the famous classic by Charles Dickens. It features a live band, astounding special effects, beautiful Victorian scenery and period costuming, and the inspiring story of redemption and hope.

Branson Veterans Week, America’s largest veterans event, is scheduled for November5 – November 11, 2011.

The event features two ways for veterans to spend their first day of Branson Veterans Homecoming Week. The Air National Guard Band of the Central States is planning a performance at 2pm at Factory Merchants Branson. The performance was scheduled after the Air National Guard Band contacted Branson Veterans Task Force stating they would like to appear during this event honoring our nations veterans. The group Salute2Entertainment will follow the Air National Guard Band’s performance. Salute2Entertainment is a Bob Hope inspired USO-style show.

Branson Veterans can also choose to attend an opening ceremony at the Starlite Theater On November 5 at 2pm.

Both shows are free and open to the public.

The Titanic Museum Branson features unique family-friendly events throughout the year. The attraction is home to over 400 priceless artifacts and historic treasures, a replica of the Grand Staircase, and interactive elements that provide insight into that fateful night.

4th Annual Chainsaw Sculpting Event: October 7-9
Professional chainsaw sculpting wood carvers from across America compete in a three-day event. The sculpting takes place in the Titanic Attraction parking lot from 9am-5pm on Friday and Saturday and 9am-3pm on Sunday. The carvings will be auctioned to the highest bidder at 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. The event, which honors the German passengers and crew aboard the Titanic, is free.

2nd Annual Titanic Firehouse & Charity Chili Cook-off: October 15
Firefighters and charities join for a special chili cook-off honoring the brave firemen and stokers aboard the Titanic. Scheduled from 10am-4pm, this is one of the Titanic’s most popular events so get there early. Guests will also be able to sample the delicious chili concoctions and the event is entirely free.

Titanic Christmas and Winter Celebration: November and December

The Titanic Branson MO turns into a magical place during the holiday season. The ship becomes aglow with lights, festive decorations adorn the halls and Santa and two of his special reindeer are also on hand to commemorate the celebration.

This free event gives guests the opportunity to pet real reindeer and pose for photos with them. The reindeer will be at the Titanic Museum on November 24, 25 and 26 as well as December 2, 3, 9 and 10.
