Cassandre' Haygood & Friends

The Cassandre Show in Branson Missouri debuted on the Branson show scene in 2009 and is performed at The Americana Theater. The show features Cassandre’s beautiful voice accompanied by an 8 piece orchestra. Cassandra definitely has a big voice, apparent from the first note she sings. She performs a variety of songs throughout the show and includes everything from Broadway hits to Celtic classics to animated favorites.

“Somewhere Over the Rainbow” is one of the first songs Cassandre performs, which segues into animated hits like “True Love’s Kiss,” from Enchanted, and “Colors of the Wind,” from Pocahontas. Cassandre really shines on both of these songs, and injects some real energy and enthusiasm into her performances. The orchestra she performs with is truly talented and adds depth to the show and the songs she performs. They also help with her comedy bits, during which she turns into “Aunt Irma,” a voluptuously eccentric family member who interacts with the audience and sings a song or two. The comedy segments showcase Cassandre’s sense of humor and humble nature. From there, Cassandre’s voice really soars, especially during the Celtic music segment when she performs ‘Danny Boy.” She turns the tempo up a notch with songs like “Fever” & “Hallelujah, I Love Him.”

Cassandre shows off her fun side a bit more with renditions of “Singing in the Rain,” “Akuna Matata,” & “A Spoonful of Sugar.” She closes the show with beautiful cover of ABBA’s “Thank you for the Music” and “Amazing Grace.”

The Branson Cassandre Show is an excellent choice for Branson visitors. As Cassandra said during the show, “It’s all about the music,” and at this show, you really hear that ring true.
