"Best Retirement Party"
April, 2018
We went to the Branson Belle dinner show as part of my retirement celebration. Even though my wife choked on a piece of chicken and MSGT. Matthew Sims had to perform the Heimlich maneuver to save her lfe and I didn't get to finish dinner, we had the best time ever.

My family and I went to the Showboat show on June 9th and had a wonderful time. We ordered the Captain's Club ticket to upgrade our seats and menu selection. I ordered me a steak and cleaned my plate. My wife ordered the pork chops and my daughter and her friend had the chicken. We all enjoyed our dinner that evening. The show itself was pretty good to. We all enjoyed the singing and dancing and laughed throughout the night. The host of the show was pretty funny and entertaining as well. As a previous reviewer mentioned, I wasn't too thrilled about the "20%" tip recommendation considering tickets for 2 adults and 2 kids, I paid close to $250. I wasn't going to leave a $50 tip (even after I already spent close to $100 in the gift shop). Our server was great and we did leave a tip with her. I would suggest this show to anyone who goes to Branson. My daughter and her friend even took pictures with the cast after the show. It was very enjoyable and memorable night.

"Nice afternoon but one thing......"

This was my husband's favorite of all we did while in Branson. We decided to splurge and get the captain's row tickets for seats in the "balcony" and choice of food. The show was entertaining and the food was very good. Unfortunately, the show ends when we got back to the dock so we didn't have much time to eat and get outside to see the lake before the show started. (We could have sat in our seat as soon as we got on board and ate first thing but we wanted to walk around the boat first). My biggest problem was the card that was on the table that recommended a "20% gratuity (for our server) for excellent service (they take credit cards)." I found it hard to swallow that it was suggested that we leave a $32 tip (we paid $160 for our tickets, not for food only). We had great service and left a nice tip but not what was suggested.
