Mickey Gilley Show in Branson, MO

Grand Shanghai Theatre
3455 W. Hwy. 76Branson, MO 65616
Mickey Gilley is back in Branson and performing all of the classic songs he has had over the past 38 years. Don't miss this opportunity to see a Country Music Legend back doing what he does best!

Mickey Gilley, whose thirty-nine hit songs, of which seventeen went to the top of the country charts, made him the legend he is today.

His top-rated, award-winning eight piece band and his two excellent backup singers jump right in as Mickey takes his audience through a musical medley of his string of #1 hits.

With the magic he's held over audience for over two decades, Mickey has all the moves down as the cameras flash. Always the showman, Mickey shows that he's every bit the storyteller as he recounts his days of growing up in Ferriday, Louisiana and the adventures he shared with his cousins and fellow keyboard-players, Rocker Jerry Lee Lewis and Televangelist Jimmy Swaggart.

The fact he's most proud of is having a street named after him in Ferriday before his famous cousins did.

Easily the best two hours of music and comedy to be found is the Mickey Gilley Show.

Our experience in Branson
Tip: Had a wonderful time going to see the Gilley Show, had been there in the past some time ago and sorry to say his health had gone down quite a bit, but we would go again in a heart beat to see him!! Always puts on a GREAT show - I do hope that he will be able to play the piano again at some point in his life - I know he loves it!! Lot's of crowds in Branson and tour buses but that's what it's all about, just take your time and enjoy the scenery and the shows and the eating!! HAVE FUN!!

"A little aged but oh so much talent."
Reviewed January, 2015
We have seen the Mickey Gilley show several times and enjoy as much today as we did years ago. He has aged with the rest of us but still can sing like no other. Can't help but feel sad as since his accident he is not able to play the piano but as he sings you can't help but notice how much he wants too.
Tip: He is in his seventies and unable to play piano, but still worth your time. You can close your eyes and listen and he sounds like the days of yester year.

We went to see Mickey Gilley this time we were in town. It has been 10 years since we saw him. We were pleasantly surprised. It was a better show this year than in the past

After all the accidents he has had, Mickey's voice is still full and just the way it has always been! He told us last night he was 81 and walks like he is 91. 2009 he could not walk was paralyzed from his neck down. He struggled to make the doctors wrong. The show was fun and full of great music. My husband and I would go see his show again and again. He cannot play the piano now, but you can tell he wants. The Urban Cowboy Band and the two ladies who are backup singers are wonderful!

Highly anticipated seeing this show. Was so disappointed. Did not enjoy their type of music. Their sense of humor was not funny. Just sounded dumb.

This show has it all. Singing, dancing, jokes and so much talent in one family. Six brothers, no instruments, six voices. just amazing. It was a very good show.

These 6 brothers (from a family of 10 boys) put on a fantastic show. All the beat, singing and percussion sound is created by their voices. At times it's hard to believe that there is no other accompaniment it's that good. Their show took us through several decades and music styles from over the years, excellent performance.
