Description

from Mickey Gilley & Johnny Lee Urban Cowboy Reunion Show
Mickey Gilley is back in Branson and performing all of the classic songs he has had over the past 38 years. Don't miss this opportunity to see a Country Music Legend back doing what he does best!

Mickey Gilley, whose thirty-nine hit songs, of which seventeen went to the top of the country charts, made him the legend he is today.

His top-rated, award-winning eight piece band and his two excellent backup singers jump right in as Mickey takes his audience through a musical medley of his string of #1 hits.

With the magic he's held over audience for over two decades, Mickey has all the moves down as the cameras flash. Always the showman, Mickey shows that he's every bit the storyteller as he recounts his days of growing up in Ferriday, Louisiana and the adventures he shared with his cousins and fellow keyboard-players, Rocker Jerry Lee Lewis and Televangelist Jimmy Swaggart.

The fact he's most proud of is having a street named after him in Ferriday before his famous cousins did.

Easily the best two hours of music and comedy to be found is the Mickey Gilley Show.

Our experience in Branson
Tip: Had a wonderful time going to see the Gilley Show, had been there in the past some time ago and sorry to say his health had gone down quite a bit, but we would go again in a heart beat to see him!! Always puts on a GREAT show - I do hope that he will be able to play the piano again at some point in his life - I know he loves it!! Lot's of crowds in Branson and tour buses but that's what it's all about, just take your time and enjoy the scenery and the shows and the eating!! HAVE FUN!!

"A little aged but oh so much talent."
January, 2015
We have seen the Mickey Gilley show several times and enjoy as much today as we did years ago. He has aged with the rest of us but still can sing like no other. Can't help but feel sad as since his accident he is not able to play the piano but as he sings you can't help but notice how much he wants too.
Tip: He is in his seventies and unable to play piano, but still worth your time. You can close your eyes and listen and he sounds like the days of yester year.

It was just a fluke that I saw Micky Gilly's name on the marquee. He has been on my bucket list for many years and I was afraid after his accidents and surgeries I would never see him perform. Boy was I wrong. He gave an outstanding performance and you really felt like he appreciated his fans and enjoyed doing what he does so well. Some of the younger "stars" could take a lesson from him. He is supporting younger performers during his concert and I think that shows what a genuine good person he is. If you're afraid you won't hear great piano playing, never fear, he has hired a piano player that is, in his words, just as good if not better than he ever was. Great show, God bless you Micky. Micky takes center stage but Johnny Lee was in great voice also. A couple of great guys.
