Mickey Gilley Show in Branson, MO

Mickey Gilley Theater
3455 W. Hwy. 76Branson, MO 65616
Mickey Gilley is back in Branson and performing all of the classic songs he has had over the past 38 years. Don't miss this opportunity to see a Country Music Legend back doing what he does best!

Mickey Gilley, whose thirty-nine hit songs, of which seventeen went to the top of the country charts, made him the legend he is today.

His top-rated, award-winning eight piece band and his two excellent backup singers jump right in as Mickey takes his audience through a musical medley of his string of #1 hits.

With the magic he's held over audience for over two decades, Mickey has all the moves down as the cameras flash. Always the showman, Mickey shows that he's every bit the storyteller as he recounts his days of growing up in Ferriday, Louisiana and the adventures he shared with his cousins and fellow keyboard-players, Rocker Jerry Lee Lewis and Televangelist Jimmy Swaggart.

The fact he's most proud of is having a street named after him in Ferriday before his famous cousins did.

Easily the best two hours of music and comedy to be found is the Mickey Gilley Show.

Our experience in Branson
Tip: Had a wonderful time going to see the Gilley Show, had been there in the past some time ago and sorry to say his health had gone down quite a bit, but we would go again in a heart beat to see him!! Always puts on a GREAT show - I do hope that he will be able to play the piano again at some point in his life - I know he loves it!! Lot's of crowds in Branson and tour buses but that's what it's all about, just take your time and enjoy the scenery and the shows and the eating!! HAVE FUN!!

"A little aged but oh so much talent."
Reviewed January, 2015
We have seen the Mickey Gilley show several times and enjoy as much today as we did years ago. He has aged with the rest of us but still can sing like no other. Can't help but feel sad as since his accident he is not able to play the piano but as he sings you can't help but notice how much he wants too.
Tip: He is in his seventies and unable to play piano, but still worth your time. You can close your eyes and listen and he sounds like the days of yester year.

We saw two different shows, Micky Gilley's last Branson show and SIX. For the first show, we were seated in the center of the theater in a special section for wheel chairs but for the second show, we were told we could not sit there because the seats behind the wheel chair section had been sold. We ended up to the far right of the stage. The usher did offer to move us but we declined. The next time we will take him up on the offer. BTW - SIX is an excellent show.

When we recently visited Branson, one of my desires was to see a Mickey Gilley show. We were not disappointed. Mickey puts on a low key, superb show. We enjoyed every minute of it. Unfortunately, Mickey is leaving Branson to tour. However, he will play occasional dates at his theater in the future.

This was our 2nd time seeing Mickey Gilley and I think this was even better than last year. I love when they do the Urban Cowboy part at the end. Fun time had at his show.

Mickey is one of my favorite performers in Branson, and I'm really sorry to hear that he will no longer be performing there after the first of the year. Hopefully, we'll be able to catch one of his shows somewhere else in the future.
