"Great for all ages"
October, 2015
We attended Jonah as a family...grandma, mom, dad, & the children ages 8, 6 & 1. The one year old got restless after a bit but the cry room was sufficient for mom & baby to go to while still enjoying the show. The only complaint about cry room is that the viewing window was too high to look out of when sitting & rocking the baby. They had a TV to view, but would have rather seen live.
Tip: No need to arrive really early. Bring snacks...they're allowed in the theatre & the ones there are pricey

"Well worth the money. Jonah"
October, 2015
My wife and I enjoyed the time in Branson, MO. We were there to celebrate my birthday and Jonah was a great treat and as good as any production if not better than any I have seen. The script was right on spot with the Bible and the visuals were first class all the way. The actors were marvelous and costumes design was first rate. I gave it a 5 star because there wasn't a 10.
Tip: They should know that they are going to be amazed and their expectations will be more than met.

My husband bought tickets for me and my four best friends for my birthday. It was one of the greatest shows we have ever seen. Loved the music, costumes, scenery and EVERYTHING about the show. Also loved the message of how God loves us even though we are unlovable! I was sad that my husband was not there to enjoy it with me

We've seen a few other S&S productions and are always thrilled with the sets, creative use of animals, use of the whole theater, audio-visual effects that broaden the set. Moses was no exception to that. However, this particular production felt like a mash-up of an epic Biblical story with the Flinstones, the Three Stooges and some Monty Python characters. Much of humor woven in seemed contrived and Pharoah's repeatedly maniacal laugh was just weird. While I understand and even appreciate taking creative liberties with the Biblical narrative, this one went wrong in the first 5 minutes and I had several instances of "huh?!" The singing was marvelous as always and the few children in the production shined. I just can't recommend it to anyone.

Wish trip advisor would just put visit type as family. I went with my daughter and she is over forty. I was amazed at the animals. I was impressed with the stag management.

"Moses is great but theater needs help"

We recently saw Moses for the first time. The actors, music, and special effects were fabulous. The story was pretty true to the Biblical account. The theater however was a big disappointment regarding the bathroom facilities. Each floor had one restroom with about 10 stalls for probably 200-300 women. The lines were 30-50 deep on each floor flowing out into the hallway for women and men during intermission. This is the most expensive show in Branson and some additional restrooms need to be made available.

This theater is amazing. The front stage, side stages, and aisles are used for the play. I have never seen such a gigantic stage. The stage sets were beautiful. Very professional and colorful. The singing was first rate. Take your own snacks and water if you can take it in a bag. There is no security check. I hear the snacks are expensive there. The best seats are the upper seats on the first floor, 2nd or 3rd row close to the outer aisles, middle seats. The aisles are used by the animals and actors. The theater seats are on a graduated incline so you can see really well. There are steps going up. There are no steps on the bottom level seating but the seats are not on a graduated incline as much as the upper level so you might get behind someone tall and not see as well. The only complaint I have is that the rows are so close together that when you try to get by people already seated, it is scary as there isnt much room to walk. Seated people have to stand up to let someone go to and from their seats. It is easier if you grab on to the person or take their hand as you are passing or you feel like you are going to fall. I helped people come through by holding on to them or taking their hand. The show is worth it though. I suggest trying to get discount tickets as the prices are high. The show is 3 hours long with an intermission.
