"Jim, WE MISS your old antics very much!"
June, 2016
I have seen his shows about 8 times over the last 15 years. His shows are always great, but he used to have many more funny antics (photographer coming down; "duck tape" gag, etc). We miss those, yes, they have been done many times, but many times are still funny. He carries the whole show himself, enjoy his songs, funnies. He has 2 teenage boys "Brother Brothers" who are good musicians, but really need to be musicians for him and stop there.

I remember Jim Stafford from years past and always enjoyed his performances. If it can be said of any performer, it has definitely improved with age. His show was the highlight of our trip to Branson

"Great show"

My family really enjoyed the show. I was worried my kids--three teenagers--would be bored, but they loved it. My oldest son said it was his favorite thing we did in Branson. My daughter is really into music, and she was awed by the brothers who performed. My youngest son loves showmanship, so even he loved it. Great show.

"He Still Has It"

We went to see Jim Stafford again last week. After all these years (27) in Branson, He still has his unique way of entertaining a crowd. His dry humor never ceases to ignite the audience and his skilled guitar playing is astonishing. 2.5 million sales later, he still sings about the Spiders and Snakes. Definitely worth an evening out!

It was so much fun to watch Jim Stafford perform. He did all of the songs we remember so well from him and his comedy was just as great now as a few decades ago. We really enjoyed ourselves. It was two hours very well spent.

"Excellent picker and entertainer with displays of talent rather than grandiose showmanship"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

You have to appreciate old school guitar pickers who have climbed the music scene ladder to appreciate Jim Stafford. At 73 years young and holding, he is still an excellent musician and entertainer. His humor is slightly edgy and refreshing if you are tired of the wholeome cornball shows in Branson. Jim Stafford's casual and low-key approach to humor and entertainment is interesting because he has lived through mamy things in business and life that has helped mold his show. One of those life events, his son Shay, plays the piano with great energy a few times during the show, and he is very talented. So, dad picks the strings on the banjo and guitar, while son picks the ivories, both men doing so with an ambitious dedication toward perfection. Enjoy the show.

"Just as good 20 years later"

First saw Jim Stafford at this theater over 20 years ago and he’s just as talented today as ever. The good thing is that Jim is on stage for the entire show except for a couple of piano numbers his son is featured on. Funny, clean and fast moving is what this show is all about. A talented performer and show you will enjoy.

Jim Stafford was at his best when he was singing or playing either the guitar or banjo. Other parts of the show were a little slow, but he can still tell a great story. His son's piano music is really unbelievable, but a huge difference from the rest of the show. It would have been nice to see Jim and Shea do more pieces together instead of just the final one. Still, he made us smile as he played the old hits. If you liked him in the 70's you will still enjoy him.
