"Abuse of Amazing Pets show in Branson MO"
March, 2018
This show was absolutely horrifying. The trainer threw cats into a suitcase and flipped it over. The cats looked afraid and looked starving. He hit one of the Siberian huskys for putting its paw in the wrong place. I would not recommend this show. It’s traumetizing and I hope this show stops getting support. Spread the word.

"Horrible ANIMAL ABUSE!!!!!!"
September, 2017
This has to be one of the sickest forms of "entertainment" that my family has ever witnessed. The trainer gets angry and throws the animals for not doing what he wants them to do and they all looked very scared and worn out. Many looked weak and sick from being overworked and it was so sad that we left mid-show. This place should not even be allowed to be in business. It was sickenly gross. Abuse is not entertainment.

"Show needs new animal trainer"
September, 2017
During the break the animal trainer sold tickets to take a picture with his cute dog. He was extremely rude while rushing then told everyone not to touch the dog when sitting beside her. The children in front of us was taking their picture when the young boy petted the dog very gently. The trainer slapped the boys hand and said "I told you not to touch the dog". None of the animals looked happy, they all flinched when the trainer was near them. I would recommend that you hire the young lady, Sara Carson, from America's Got Talent who has been living in her car with her dogs. She has a wonderful uplifting show and obviously loves her dogs and they obviously adore her.

We were worried about our 4 kids (ages 1,4,6,10) all being entertained enough to enjoy a show...this one did the trick. Even the baby was amazed at watching the animals. Everyone really enjoyed the show, well worth the money.

"Big Disappointment"

We had our son and his family join us for spring break. The kids are 19 months and 4 years old. We were so excited to take them to their first Branson show-what a disappointment. The animals didn't do much, the trainer had no emotion, not engaging, the kids were bored and restless. The comedian was ok but we saw more of him then the animals. The cost was high especially for such a low quality show. We took the same kiddos to Sampson and they were mesmerized-loved it!

I wanted to like it, but still have this "ehhhh" feeling. Most (if not all) Branson shows are 2 hours long, however this one was maybe an hour and a half. 30 minutes of that was the actual pet show, the rest was the "host" making jokes, having kids sing, and trying to sell merchandise. The pet part was actually really really cool, but overall, not satisfied.

"Good mainly for families with small children"

Our 8-year-old son said today that this was, in his opinion, the best of all three shows we went to in Branson over the weekend. Of course, he was influenced not only by the adorable tricks of the cats and dogs (and some flyovers by two colorful parrots) but also by getting to tell a joke into the microphone and go on stage with other children to make animal sounds during a song and in general have fun. This is not a glitzy show with a high production level. It's cornball humor and great fun for kids who want to see animals. This will not be as impressive to adults, although it is cute. A warning for parents is that they do sell light-up toys, stuffed animals on a leash and charge for pictures. You also are NOT allowed to pet any animal in the show, even if you get a picture in the lobby, for their safety and yours. These may be things you want to be aware of up front. Your show ticket will get you a buy one, get one for half price deal at the Grand Country Buffet, which can be used for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The location is also very convenient to other activities, including mini golf, indoor games, laser tag, indoor go carts and a fudge/candy shop in the same or an adjacent building. A resort with an indoor water park is also located here, although we did not stay here, and I can't review those activities. We did eat the buffet (inconsistent, but you should be able to find some foods you enjoy) and outdoor mini golf (not challenging, but amusing for all age levels) and got some fudge (very good, and a coupon book gets you 1/4 pound free if you buy a pound). As an animal lover, I watched closely and noticed the trainer treated the animals with love and respect, even when an animal didn't do a trick exactly as expected. They all appeared in excellent health and were rewarded with treats multiple times for positive reinforcement. A few animals that appeared older were not asked to do tasks beyond their abilities. It was mentioned that all of these animals were rescued, and people were encouraged to adopt, if possible, or to foster an animal if possible. I was glad to hear these sentiments.
