We enjoyed our stay. The staff members were welcoming and very helpful. Only complaint is no microwave in the room which we knew before booking. Going back in September

We loved this resort and will definitely tell others and stay here again in the future. It was so kid friendly, yet, things for adults to do as well. The resort was located in a spot where you could miss all of the main traffic and still get to all of the hot spots fairly quick. Two thumbs up...
Tip: Bring swimming suits and prepare to have fun....

We picked a rainy weekend to travel to Branson and our White Water plans had to be cancelled. It was great to be able to allow my kids to get some water time! They had a blast while I enjoyed the jacuzzi. And the staff was very nice and helpful.

"Great Place to Stay"
Reviewed January, 2015
We had the pleasure of booking this hotel thru Reserve Branson. We had no idea what to expect and were pleasantly surprised!! Our young family of 4 had a GREAT time at Welk Resort Hotel & Splashatorium. We were fortunate enough to have amazing weather in October, even swam outside. My husband, the girls and I had a wonderful time at Splashatorium (with snow cones!) and enjoyed our round of mini-golf. We have stayed at several places in Branson, this is one of our favorites.
Tip: Family Friendly!

"Timeshare and Family Vacay"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed June 22, 2016 NEW

I must say the Welk Resort was enjoyable, clean facilities, plenty of things to do and be a part of, and friendly staff. It was quite a ways from the "strip" and the Landing. We were there this past weekend for a time share presentation. I'll get into that part later. Our check in was simple and pleasant. It was so hot the lemon water in the lobby was refreshing. Kelton was very courteous and polite. He offered everything except the kitchen sink to make sure our stay was comfortable. The room was nice, not great. Linens were clean plenty of bath and pool towels, however the bathroom floor near the bathtub had issues. There was dirt and a small amount of mold. Not enough to really get nervous about but unacceptable. Our room was tight for 3 children and 2 adults. Not much space from the bed to the television. We headed to the mini golf course which was behind the resort. 9 holes. Very cool. Not sure what was in the empty plaza but it was so much wasted space. The pool area was awesome. My kids had a blast. The bucket the slide, checkers, 2 hot tubs, slide and plenty of poolside lounge chaises. There was a game room with Foose ball, pool table, air hockey, television, fireplace and leather seating throughout. There wasn't much chalk for the cues. I found a small broken piece on the floor. Moving on, we received dining vouchers valued at $50. Thank you but not worth it. Get into that in a few as well. Our timeshare consultant was Jim. Unlike most trying to get a sale, he seemed genuine and professional. I think he could have been more knowledgeable unless that was part of the game. Seriously I didn't think he was. The villas were amazing and so gorgeous, I had to take pics. Who is the interior decorator please?Steve came to the rescue and offered roundtrip tickets to Hawaii and Cabo. But since we couldn't agree to the terms of the APR, we declined to proceed. Okay, back to the vouchers. We decided to use them for breakfast after our checkout. After finding the Stage Door Restaurant we simply weren't impressed. The decor was a far cry from the other areas and could seriously use some updating. The whole restaurant was dripping in old peach colored paint. There was no one to greet us so when we decided to seat ourselves a rather irritated staff member made us come back to the sign that says "please wait to be seated". There were so many empty tables but I was told they were reserved. I even asked to go sit outside instead we were offered a table next to the buser station in front of the gift shop. Such horrible treatment it ruined the otherwise favorable trip. I will say that while the food was bland, runny eggs, and the mushy strawberries rendered the waffle inedible a selection of other items were available. Eat somewhere else. I never had such nasty food but hey everything can change for something greater. There's a good place to start. Overall Kelton, Jim, Tim the finisher after the presentation and I never got her name. She wore a denim sleeveless dress as she was so friendly. She greeted and thanked us, opened the door and welcomed our return in the future. Thanks again for everything. Please fix your restaurant. P.S. There's the old Branson and the new Branson called the Landing. Go there if you want something a little less 'country western'.

We had a wonderful time at the Welks Resort. We stayed 4 nights The pool and slide were great. Lots of kids for my son to play with. We loved playing corn hole, checkers, and ping pong by the pool, too. Only negative would be to start activities on scheduled time. My son loved playing mini golf whenever he wanted. My daughter and I loved the ice water infused with lemon and lime. The restaurant was nice and prices were fairly reasonable. Staff was awesome. As for the room the only draw back would be to put a towel rack where the picture is above the toilet. If we could have had a place to dry our towels we would have not needed towels replaced everyday. The bed was very comfortable. Fridge was perfect. A/C worked great. Room was very clean. Elevators were a little nerve racking.

I stayed here for one night while attending a concert at the theater. Very easy access. The front desk staff was very nice and accommadating. Parking is free and convenient. I stayed in the main hotel. The room was nice and clean. Very cool which was great since it was 95 degrees outside. I did not use the pool but it looked nice. They have a restaurant on the premises. I ate lunch there. The food was good. I would definitely stay here again. Priced very reasonably.

"Nice place to stay in Branson!"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed June 15, 2016 NEW

My husband and I stayed here on our first trip to Branson. We booked it through Hotwire, so we were really glad when we got this resort. The rooms were nice, and the office staff members were very friendly. The concierge was very helpful with show and restaurant suggestions, and she booked all our show tickets with great seats. The breakfast buffet at $9 was very good, better than most buffets as the food was delicious and hot. The only negative was that we could hear children running around above us. It was very loud. We would definitely stay here again, but probably request the top floor.

"For kids only"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed June 14, 2016 NEW

I only have this place 3 stars because it is really just a place to stay if you have kids. Kids will have fun with the indoor water slides and pools and the different things they can do. They have a miniature golf course there in the property that is fun for kids also. The rooms are decent and the beds are ok. The check out time is ridiculous though. When a person goes on vacation, they don't want to have to wake up extra early to check out. The check out time is 10 am ! That's earlier than any other place I've ever stayed in. Plus their breakfast buffet is 9 bucks a person and that's only if you pre-pay. Not a good deal. Parking is hard to come by as well. I would not recommend this place to anyone wanting peace and quiet.
