"Making a splash in Branson"
August, 2017
This was our son's first visit to Branson. It was the warm February of 2017. We stayed at Welk Resort and splashed in the Splashatorium. The front desk associates were friendly and the room was clean and tidy.

Tip: Get ready to have fun splashing in heated indoor pools. The water was plenty warm.

"Love but failed on one aspect."
August, 2016
My family had an amazing time at the Welks resort! It was not far from down town everyone was very friendly! The splash-a-torium is the icing on the cake but let me warn you the water IS FREEEEEZING! Of course it didn't bother my kids but it was way to cold for me which is crazy because I LOVE swimming but this was just miserable cold so I was very thankful for the hot tubs they had! The rooms are very small which made it difficult for us to find places for our luggage but we managed just fine. The bathroom on the other hand was super spacious and had tons of counter space! The only other problem we had was our room not ever getting cleaned by house keeping. We come in at 2 everyday to lay our kids down for a nap & house keeping had never been by for the 3 days we went there so for 3 days we had our trash taken out & that was it. It would have been nice for them to have focused on cleaning the rooms for their guests that we're currently staying in first and then cleaned the rooms that people had checked out of last. All in all it was a nice place to stay. Would probably stay here again but would have to talk to a manager about our previous experience of not getting rooms cleaned.

Tip: Don't expect your room to be clean before 4pm. Water at splashatorium is FREEZING COLD even in 100 degree heat!

"Family Vacation"
October, 2015
We loved this resort and will definitely tell others and stay here again in the future. It was so kid friendly, yet, things for adults to do as well. The resort was located in a spot where you could miss all of the main traffic and still get to all of the hot spots fairly quick. Two thumbs up...

This was one of the few hotels left in Branson for Veterans Day weekend. I couldn’t believe their was a room left. We got lucky. This resort offers a friendly staff, great breakfast buffet (you do pay extra for it), and an amazing swim area. The family really enjoyed the slide and hot tub. We will be back. For the price the amenities are well worth the stay.

"Daniel O'Donnell at the Welk Theater"

Daniel O'Donnell in Branson or anywhere you can see his show, see it. Daniel O'Donnell is an entertainer singer from Ireland who comes to the USA each year with his very entergetic musical show. As a former motor coach tour operator we would never miss Daniel on our Branson tours as he would be just another big reason that we would advertise the tour. He is only in Branson for a couple three weeks in the month of November This November while standing in line at the ticket counter to redeem my tickets which I purchased in March of 2017, a lady was purchasing her tickets, for November 2018. Daniell O'Donnell is just one class act of singing, dancing, and delighting his audiences with beautiful music and singing. He has a first class band, and a co-star singer, Mary Duff who adds so much to the show. Tickets are around $58.00 but you do get your monies worth as the show is nearly three hours long. I am sure he is totally exhausted when the show concludes. He will be in Lakeland Florida in February 2018 but the tickets are selling for $78.00 nosebleed section, to around $115.00. Would love to see him as we snowbird this winter in Florida but will pass on that show because of price. We will just enjoy sunny Florida and host a meal for our friends and watch an exciting Daniell O'Donnell video. I will probably choose his 50's Rock and Roll video that night to host our friends. Going to Branson in November, spend the money and by all means see the show. One other point, we sat on the third row right in front of a big speaker and the volume was perfect. No blasting you out of the building as some shows seem to want to do

"Great Spot for Kids"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed November 08, 2017 NEW
Recently, my family went to Branson for a long weekend. We wanted to go to Silver Dollar City and do some activities on the strip. This hotel is the perfect distance from everything and is a great place to "come home" to. Every evening, after a long day out, we enjoyed a couple hours of swimming and relaxing in the hot tub. The water slide in the Splashatorium is awesome and goes much faster than expected. The pool moves from inside to out and tire out our 3 year old. There is food onsite. We never ordered from the menu - electing to eat from the buffet. By day two, we are pretty tired of it, but it is quick when everyone is tired. Everyone is very nice and we were offered free tickets to a show at another resort. This is not a 5 star hotel - but a nice family friendly hotel that offers a lot of great amenities.

The handicap rooms are more that adequate with all the amenities needed for my Mother and Aunt's stay.
