"Review of two night stay"
March, 2015
My family and I enjoyed a two night stay at Village at Indian Point. Everything was clean and ready for use when we arrived. Also, staff was very accommodating with special requests. Having the kitchen fully stocked with plates, cups, silverware etc made it easier to have meals there which allowed us more time to enjoy the amenities. Overall, the cost of the two night stay was completely worth it and we will definitely be visiting again in the future!
Tip: Know that you are responsible for the "housekeeping" duties you would typically have at a hotel.

Although it rained for two days we TOTALLY loved our unit #7 in bldg 9. Cute, Clean, Comfortable. Fire in the hearth all day was a needed time to rest from travels and excursions. Friendly staff. Only wish was that some coffee was at the front desk for this caffeine mama
Tip: bring coffee and sodas. limited fishing without a boat

"Thanksgiving Trip 2016"

I rented three two bedrooms condos that will sleep six, with a sleeper sofa. They were all clean, furnished nicely and met my family of 14's needs for the four nights. They were adequately stocked with kitchen cookware, dishes and such. Linens were nice and clean. I used the washer and dryer once to launder towels and kitchen cloths and towels. Bring your own laundry soap. There were not enough trash bags and they were very flimsy, so bring your own. The stove refrigerator and dishwasher were nice. Christmas decorations were up and a small tree which made it even more nice. The only problems we had were the following: my condo in the master bath and bedroom had the smell of a medicine antibiotic of some kind. Not too strong but I definitely smelled it. My daughters condo had the hot water breaker trip twice. The first night they didn't have any hot water sine we arrived after 7:00. The maintenance man came the next morning and unlocked the breaker box and re-set it. He left it unlocked in case it tripped again, which it did, but they didn't realize it until it was time to shower and go to bed again. It took it awhile to re-heat of course. He said we would get a discount for our inconvenience but I'm not sure we did. My son's condo had a very musty smell in he master bedroom as if there had been a water leak or TV overflow. He has asthma and they all have allergies so that was not a good thing. We also requested a boat slip for my son in laws boat and that worked out well. Other than that the Village is great. I love the arrangement of the resort. The employees were very nice and helpful. I would stay there again. Very close to Silver Doll City and you miss a lot of the heavy traffic driving from this location during the holidays. The Village was decorated for Christmas and very welcoming.

When we got there our condo was dirty. There were dead insects and worms around the sliders. The pots and pans were all scratched with aluminum base exposed. The glasses looked liked they were not cleaned. The vertical blinds were missing panels and the horizontal blinds had dark liquids spilled all over them. The throw rug in the masterbath and Kitchen looked like they had not been washed in a year. The kitchen utensils were bent and/or melted. We found garbage under the sofa bed when making up for my children. That sofabed was very uncomfortable an adult would have been miserable. I called the front desk and explained the situation and no one said I'm sorry. Just that they would notify the manager. The amenities are nice. The place has potential they just are not on top of things...My unit was not worth the fee.

We enjoyed this stay!!! We would definitely recommend it for other families. Very, very clean and a wonderful view. The noise from above was a little much, but to be expected. The location is good if you can pick your time wisely to avoid the SDC traffic.

We stayed at this resort over Thanksgiving weekend. We had two condos. One two bedroom condo and one two bedroom jacuzzi loft condo. Both were great. The loft condo (Building 19, Unit 12) was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Was perfect for our family dinner and with the deck was perfect for 20-25 people get together. The office staff was great to work with...making sure our accommodations were exactly what we needed. Highly recommend!!!
