"Review of two night stay"
March, 2015
My family and I enjoyed a two night stay at Village at Indian Point. Everything was clean and ready for use when we arrived. Also, staff was very accommodating with special requests. Having the kitchen fully stocked with plates, cups, silverware etc made it easier to have meals there which allowed us more time to enjoy the amenities. Overall, the cost of the two night stay was completely worth it and we will definitely be visiting again in the future!
Tip: Know that you are responsible for the "housekeeping" duties you would typically have at a hotel.

Although it rained for two days we TOTALLY loved our unit #7 in bldg 9. Cute, Clean, Comfortable. Fire in the hearth all day was a needed time to rest from travels and excursions. Friendly staff. Only wish was that some coffee was at the front desk for this caffeine mama
Tip: bring coffee and sodas. limited fishing without a boat

We are traveling with our two dogs to Kansas City for the solar eclipse and happened to book two nights so we could see Branson en route. We were assigned Lodge 13, condo #1 since these were the pet friendly condos. We could not have been happier. The condo was clean, clean, clean and the layout was perfect. The screened enclosed porch allowed our dogs to sun bathe in the early morning and late afternoon and we loved dining al fresco each evening. Picking up dinner to go was the best thing- we got a chance to appreciate the serene surroundings and listen to the cicadas and crickets. We even saw fire flies- something we do not see anymore in south Florida. Only one comment concerning the check in - earliest time allowed is 4:00 pm and the office closes at 5:00pm. This could be difficult for some guests to arrive within this 1 hour time frame when traveling.

We have stayed here several times over the years. Comfortable. Like being at home! We stayed in a two bedroom, two bath. With living room, kitchen and laundry room. Close to Silver Dollar City and not far from Branson.

Beautiful resort and very peaceful. It was well maintained and had all the amenities. It was truly a home away from home. It a relaxing vacation and we enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools. My only regret was that we could not stay longer!

Room was clean, comfortable and quiserves and friendly service Disappointed our "lake" view room was not much of a lake view, maybe years ago when the trees were shorter! The room was sold as Lakeview not partial Lakeview The boat parking was small and difficult to get in and out of, especially with a huge tree still standing right in the middle of the drive!

"Nice resort but not our favorite"

We stayed here with three kids in a two bedroom lakefront condo. It was nice - spacious condo, very clean, quiet, good lake view, a nice indoor pool including a baby pool, and friendly staff in the office. However, we preferred the resort we stayed in last year (the nearby Still Waters Resort) for a few reasons. There were no restaurants or stores here (apart from a few miscellaneous items in the office). The playground was dirty, buggy, and small. We didn't find any neat nature trails to explore. The dock was a bit small and didn't offer boat rental or kayaks/paddle boards/etc - just a place to look at the water and fish (although we didn't catch anything). We had to drive elsewhere to rent a boat. While the pool was very nice, the other resort had multiple pools that our kids loved. Overall this is a very nice place to stay, but we will plan to stay elsewhere in the future given our interests.
