"BRANSON 2 WEEK VACATION"

The Suites at Fall Creek are a Diamond Resort. We had a room with the view of lake taneycomo. Ethan at the front desk gave us excellent service. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The lake has a nice and comfortable fishing dock. During this time beginning of May the water currents varied greatly. I IMO unfishable from the shore sometimes due to the strengthof the flow. It is good Table Rock Lake is so close as an alternative. Branson has amazing and varied entertainment. One of our favorite places in the world. The atmosphere, the people, the scenery and the whole God and Country attitude prevails. It is so refreshing coming here.

"Construction Noise and Beware of High Resort Fees"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed May 03, 2018 NEW
We had an enjoyable stay in a one-bedroom condo during the week of April 14-21. It would have been more enjoyable if we had not had to deal with all of the construction noise. There was also the issue of the mandatory almost $9 PER NIGHT "resort fee." I am guessing that they put us in the construction building because we came in on the Armed Forces Vacation Club exchange and since they were not making as much money on us, we were treated like the stepchildren. There were very few people staying in our building because they were replacing the fiber optic cables in the condos. They are nicely hidden under the new crown molding in the unit. The problem is that we had to hear electric saws and hammering all day when we were at the resort, and it was especially loud in the condo next to ours. In addition, they were sprucing up the place by building a new deck over the fish pond which also added to the noise level. It was especially noisy when they brought in the back hoe to do some landscaping repair. We could not enjoy sitting on our beautiful screened-in porch because of all the construction noise. I believe we were in building 22, but I'm not positive. It has been a couple of weeks since we were there. On the positive side, the unit was large with a full kitchen. It also had a washer/dryer in a closet in the kitchen. We had two large TVs and movie rentals are free from the resort (2 per night). The unit also had a comfortable king size bed and a large bathroom. The screened in porch was especially nice (without the construction noise). We even had a recliner, which I put to good use. The couch was not comfortable, and the cushions kept separating from the couch. The unit was clean with the exception of the nasty feeling carpet. I wish I had brought house shoes. The unit was in good repair with the exception of the torn carpet in the entry way. Our building also had an elevator and luggage carts. All of the employees were especially nice and helpful. We had ample supplies in the unit. We took advantage of the catered dinner on Tues night where they brought in the stars from the area to give a little preview of their shows. This is well worth attending. Many of the performers gave discounts or free tickets.

when we had problems they were fixed quickly We had lights that kept going out. The staff repaired the problem as much as was possible. They worked around our schedule to do the repairs so as not to bother our vacation.

"Additional Charges for parking"

Resort is ok and they are remodeling some units. I was not informed about the parking fee before I check in. We had to wait 2 hours for them to get our unit ready, it was not like they did not have another unit to put us in.
