"Family weekend"
July, 2016
We had a wonderful time at Still Waters. Everything was even better than we expected. Everyone was real friendly and helpful. Had a great room with a beautiful view. We would highly recommend staying at this resort.
Tip: Towels were provided and kitchen well supplied with what you would need. Only thing we had to go get was paper towels.

"Hot water heater"
March, 2016
We stayed here during spring break, everything was great until Saturday night (night before Easter Sunday) and no hot water. So I called front desk, I asked her if we were sharing a water heater with someone, she said no (which i found out was a lie) so once I told her the problem and she said she would send someone to our room, I said ok great we are in room __ building G, we waited for several hours..... nothing, no phone call nothing. So when I was checking out I informed management all he had to say was he was sorry, it was a miss communication and he apologized. I told him I told the lady at the desk which room and building we were in, then he said he was right there with the lady at the time I called, she did not tell him the building just the room ( I found this out while talking to him) so that tells you she did not give the right information. I am not a complainer, but this ruined our Easter. Needless to say we will not be back.
Tip: No hot water, and the worse customer service

"Great area.....HORRIBLE service"
March, 2016
I am very disappointed with our experience. We arrived Friday, check in was easy, people seemed nice, place seemed clean, etc for the price $300 (2 night 2 bed 2 bath condo, includes check in fee and such).

So fast forward to about 30 minutes after our arrival (not even fully unpacked yet) our "concierge" (Dennis) comes to our room to welcome us. He tells me a bit about the property and family orientation and how the grandfather died a few weeks ago and so on... Then goes on to say that they love feedback and suggestions and for a bit of our time he will knock off a $100 for an additional night for us to go to a presentation. Please keep in mind this is my first trip as an adult. I liked the idea of helping a company grow by ideas and such and figured what the heck for $100 I'll do it.... Well, turned out we were there from 9 am to after 12 and it was a sales pitch, which it did say on the form I signed, I just didn't fully read it. The guys were great and their plan wasn't technically bad but I was not buying. We leave, after my kids sat waiting quietly for hours to do "fun" things.
After our nice day we get back and I call the service desk to pay for the difference for the extra night. I was informed they couldn't find anything. I gave her our "concierge" name and she said she'll call him. Guess what....two minutes later, he doesn't "recall" this....well luckily I have the paperwork copy. So I call him, he says apparently the sales guys stated that I didn't show my ID and credit card when we showed so they couldn't complete the presentation. That was the first thing they asked for at 9 am! They have my credit card info and I was informed by Dennis that if we didn't attend they would charge $100 on it. I have checked and the charge isn't there....yet...and it better not be or I won't be just writing reviews.
I would like to throw a fit and act like the mad customer I deserve to be right now but I won't put my kids through that. Instead, they have lost business and hopefully this steers others away. It's sad really, BC we really liked the resort and planned on coming back. We were going to stay until Monday even without the $100 off. Instead we are going to go to a different resort for the additional night....

Now if my card gets charged....this will end waaaaaayyyyy differently but as of now...I will leave quietly and not hand these people another dime
Tip: Customer service is not priority

"Second time at Still Water-I'm sure there will be 3rd."
October, 2015
Spent three nights at Still Water. I was able to book a wonderful deal on the room and SDC tickets using Reserve Branson. Couldn't find a better deal anywhere else! We stayed in one of their rooms with double queens. Plenty of space and comfortable. I like the easy checkout too. We spent most of our time at Silver Dollar City, but they have lots to do on the property. Swimming, biking, play grounds. Nice place, we'll be back!
Tip: No maid service--towel exchange offered.

"Great time on the lake but resort pics are misleading..."

First of all, our family had a great time on the lake but I don't think it had much to do with this resort. We stayed in building B which was fine... No noise issues, clean, felt safe, etc. However, the pics of a 2 bedroom condo on the website were not like the condo we stayed in. The pools on property were clean, nice, etc. but again, pics on the website are misleading and pools are very small. Our family (with tween/teen boys) had a great time but not because of this property, more so because we took advantage of the great weather and time on the lake. I will say the pontoon boat we rented from the resort marina was very nice and we compared prices to the State Park Marina and they were very comparable/fair. Having "free" (I feel like you pay for it with the rate) kayaks and paddleboards was a nice aspect. In all, for what we actually utilized of the resort "amenities" I think we could have stayed somewhere else for less and avoided the timeshare pitch at check in.

"Great Family Atmosphere"

We were here for a family reunion. The office staff are very friendly. There is so much to do on property. Included in your room cost is paddle boards, kayaks, tubes, life jackets, miniature golf, playgrounds, basketball and volleyball courts and water slides with very nice swimming pools. The rooms all have patios or decks. Now, if you look at their website, the rooms are GORGEOUS and bright. Not so much in reality. Our studio in bldg "C" which was called" Poolside" had no pool next to it. And was Very Dark. It had 2 queen size beds and says 4 can stay in the room but we had 3 and it was VERY TIGHT.

Pictures of this property are really deceiving. It's a nice enough place, but nothing like what they show on their website. Calling it a "resort" is a real stretch considering there is no maid service, no toiletries, no towel service. The pools are very small and dock area old and in need of repairs. No where on property to buy necessities. The grills they say are available are small and dirty. A big plus, however, is that our adjoining rooms were beautifully remodeled and spacious. We had fourteen people and never felt cramped. On our arrival, we were told three times that everyone had to wear a wristband to enjoy the pools and dock. Our biggest complaint is that while we were there, a party of around 35 people were at the pool and dock, and only three or four of them had wristbands. They were extremely disruptive and when we questioned the lifeguard and person at the dock as to why they didn't have wristbands they said they would find out. Nothing was done! We never saw an adult who looked like they were in charge and no one questioned them or anyone without a wristband. I don't doubt that they were Stillwater's guests, but the only way you get a wristband is to be listed on the registration and a fee is charged for each child. So evidently they weren't paying for a lot of kids. This makes me question their security as anyone from outside could use the facilities. Overall our stay was enjoyable, but only because our family was all together, not because the place was all that special.

Think twice before staying at this resort. There were several issues during our stay. First, when we arrived our reservation dates were messed up, but that was partially my fault so I gave them a pass on that one. Second, my room smelled awful. Heavy smoke smell despite the room being non-smoking. Third, the pictures of the room online are not at all like what the room actually looked like. Fourth, we stayed in a condo that has the ability to adjoin the neighboring condo and the walls are paper thin. I heard everything- every detail, every conversation, EVERYTHING from the people next door. Fifth, the pictures of the pools online make the pools seem much larger than they actually are. I was joking with my friends that whoever their photographer was he/she deserves an award. Not only are they very small, they are also very shallow. Sixth, half of the free lakeside equipment (i.e. kayaks, paddles, paddleboats) is not in good working condition. Seventh and most concerning- I was traveling with my six-year old without my husband. At some point, someone entered our room and left a used beach towel. I took my concern to the front desk and they said they would investigate it. When I returned to the front desk they said they didn't know what happened but that I most likely A) left the door open and then B) someone entered the room and left the used towel. I explained that I was concerned for my safety and for the safety of my child. The man I spoke with (either owner or manager) shrugged his shoulders and said there was nothing he could do. He also said that they have no video surveillance on the resort grounds. I would have thought they would have offered me a new/different room. I will never stay here again and for the money you can find MUCH BETTER accommodations elsewhere in Branson! I traveled with 2 other families and they also said they would not return here.
