"Family weekend"
July, 2016
We had a wonderful time at Still Waters. Everything was even better than we expected. Everyone was real friendly and helpful. Had a great room with a beautiful view. We would highly recommend staying at this resort.
Tip: Towels were provided and kitchen well supplied with what you would need. Only thing we had to go get was paper towels.

"Hot water heater"
March, 2016
We stayed here during spring break, everything was great until Saturday night (night before Easter Sunday) and no hot water. So I called front desk, I asked her if we were sharing a water heater with someone, she said no (which i found out was a lie) so once I told her the problem and she said she would send someone to our room, I said ok great we are in room __ building G, we waited for several hours..... nothing, no phone call nothing. So when I was checking out I informed management all he had to say was he was sorry, it was a miss communication and he apologized. I told him I told the lady at the desk which room and building we were in, then he said he was right there with the lady at the time I called, she did not tell him the building just the room ( I found this out while talking to him) so that tells you she did not give the right information. I am not a complainer, but this ruined our Easter. Needless to say we will not be back.
Tip: No hot water, and the worse customer service

"Great area.....HORRIBLE service"
March, 2016
I am very disappointed with our experience. We arrived Friday, check in was easy, people seemed nice, place seemed clean, etc for the price $300 (2 night 2 bed 2 bath condo, includes check in fee and such).

So fast forward to about 30 minutes after our arrival (not even fully unpacked yet) our "concierge" (Dennis) comes to our room to welcome us. He tells me a bit about the property and family orientation and how the grandfather died a few weeks ago and so on... Then goes on to say that they love feedback and suggestions and for a bit of our time he will knock off a $100 for an additional night for us to go to a presentation. Please keep in mind this is my first trip as an adult. I liked the idea of helping a company grow by ideas and such and figured what the heck for $100 I'll do it.... Well, turned out we were there from 9 am to after 12 and it was a sales pitch, which it did say on the form I signed, I just didn't fully read it. The guys were great and their plan wasn't technically bad but I was not buying. We leave, after my kids sat waiting quietly for hours to do "fun" things.
After our nice day we get back and I call the service desk to pay for the difference for the extra night. I was informed they couldn't find anything. I gave her our "concierge" name and she said she'll call him. Guess what....two minutes later, he doesn't "recall" this....well luckily I have the paperwork copy. So I call him, he says apparently the sales guys stated that I didn't show my ID and credit card when we showed so they couldn't complete the presentation. That was the first thing they asked for at 9 am! They have my credit card info and I was informed by Dennis that if we didn't attend they would charge $100 on it. I have checked and the charge isn't there....yet...and it better not be or I won't be just writing reviews.
I would like to throw a fit and act like the mad customer I deserve to be right now but I won't put my kids through that. Instead, they have lost business and hopefully this steers others away. It's sad really, BC we really liked the resort and planned on coming back. We were going to stay until Monday even without the $100 off. Instead we are going to go to a different resort for the additional night....

Now if my card gets charged....this will end waaaaaayyyyy differently but as of now...I will leave quietly and not hand these people another dime
Tip: Customer service is not priority

We have always had great luck staying here. The pools are great and the rooms are nice and we always have plenty of room. I especially like having the kitchenette since we have kids and always bring snacks.

"Second time at Still Water-I'm sure there will be 3rd."
October, 2015
Spent three nights at Still Water. I was able to book a wonderful deal on the room and SDC tickets using Reserve Branson. Couldn't find a better deal anywhere else! We stayed in one of their rooms with double queens. Plenty of space and comfortable. I like the easy checkout too. We spent most of our time at Silver Dollar City, but they have lots to do on the property. Swimming, biking, play grounds. Nice place, we'll be back!
Tip: No maid service--towel exchange offered.

The resort staff were very friendly and helpful. As we read in some of the reviews, they offered us a credit on our bill if we sat through a 120 minute promo for the resort. There wasn't any pressure to do it. We did on the third day we were there. Although we didn't want to join, they took care of us - got us reduced price tickets to several shows - just generally very nice people. We stayed in Building G - thankful for the elevator since we were on the third floor. Someone at the resort had a excellent idea by making shopping carts available to help with getting your stuff to your room. The beds and pillows left a little to be desired, but I'm sure they have had plenty of wear and tear as this place seems to stay pretty busy. We traveled the middle of May and were there during the week- you would have thought it was summer vacation. They also have a great little store that offers just about anything you would need. They serve breakfast and have a delicious pizza for later in the day. As far as location, it was central to most anywhere you would want to go in Branson. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider staying with them again if we return to the area.

Rented a 3 bedroom condo-had 7 adults & 3 kids-plenty of room for all! Each bedroom had a full, attached bathroom & had a sofa bed. Full kitchen with washer & dryer. Balcony facing Table Rock Lake. Lots of lake toys, all free. Pool & hot tub were very clean. Says no pets allowed on grounds, but we saw several people with dogs. Easy access to Silver Dollar City. Will visit again when we travel to Branson!

"The Good and Bad"

We stayed in a two bedroom unit (Building E, Rm, 121) with a pool view. On our drive home, we tried to think of how we would describe our stay to others and we decided that "tired" was a good word. The space and layout of the room was perfect for our little family. We have a three year old so having a full kitchen and washer/dryer was so helpful. Due to nap times and early bedtimes, we did spend more time in the condo than we normally would so maybe that is why I am more critical. We also thought it was strange that we were staying at a "resort," but throughout the property you would encounter people's private residences. Is that normal for this part of the country or is it common at a lake resort? Good: -Lots to do. We enjoyed the playground, pool, walking down by the lake and sport courts. -We enjoyed pizza and subs from the on-site pizza joint. Both times we used them the employees were super nice and attentive. -Close to attractions that we had planned to visit. Bad: - SO LOUD! I believe the walls and ceilings were made with notebook paper. Thankfully we brought a white noise machine for our daughter or it would have been bad. -The Wi-Fi was terrible. I don't mind being unplugged on vacation, but we had scary weather both nights of our visit. It was almost impossible to get the radar pulled up to view and the TV weather coverage was spare at best. -Our room needed some major upgrades. The furniture and carpets were worn, the big tub in the master was impossible to drain and the pillows were the WORST.

My family and I had a great time at Stillwaters Resort. My kids had a blast on the kayaks, paddle boats, and aqua bikes...all for free!!! They have nature hikes along with scavenger hunts and a bon fire at night. Also, pool side bingo, a game room and so much more! My family and I will definitely be back in the future, with so much to do who could get bored??? We absolutely loved it!

"terrible staff members"

We reserved a condominium for 4 days. On the fifth day we received a call around 9 in morning by the reception telling us to leave within on hour although our checkout time was 11.0 clock. When I reconfirmed with them they told us we were notified before our stay there. I didn't want to argue so we left. Never again will I ever stay at this resort. The staff are unsympathetic, stupid and have their own rules. It was noisy surrounding with children playing, our huge disappointment in renting out at still waters. Never again!
