I will first say two nights isn’t enough time for all the fun this place has to offer! My family and I had such a great time! Everything about this place was wonderful!! Very clean and very nice! It felt like home away from home!! Can’t wait until next year! We will be coming back but we are planning to stay longer!!!

We are happy we stayed at Still Waters Resort. From check in to check out everything went smooth. When we got there my wife was ill and we had to reschedule a Branson show and get new tickets for another day. The office for Still Waters allowed us to print the new tickets from their computer free and happily. We will be back again.

We had a great time here! The weather didn’t cooperate so we didn’t get to enjoy the resort and marina as much as we would’ve liked, but still had a great time! The rooms are great and the pools are awesome! We hope to visit again!!

"Nice place to stay"
March, 2018
We enjoyed the resort, although it was cold so no swimming. I was hoping to get in the kayaks and paddle boats, but the only day they were out on marina was the last day. We got there at 4:20 and they closed at 4:30. Kind of early when the sun is shining and people were everywhere to have fun.

Tip: It is a great option to hotels on the strip, however it is a ways out of town. Lots to do in the summer, but not so much in spring. Also, I was fooled by the pictures on the website. Not as good as it looked.

It was our second time to stay here and we love it. Clean and cozy. Love the fact that it is away from the main attractions on 76 but close enough to make it convenient. We will definitely start here again and again.

Upon arrival the staff is overall welcoming and friendly. They may try to get you to listen to a sales pitch which is annoying. But overall everyone is friendly. Lots of amenities are included which is what attracted us to this hotel. My biggest complaint is the pools are just ridiculously cold. Even if it’s 90+ degrees it’s too cold. 2 days we were there (August) was hot and 1 day it was a chilly 75 degrees and off and on rain. No heated pool so you couldn’t really do anything. My 4 year old didn’t mind the temperature of the pool and he absolutely loved the slides but my 2 year old refused to get in and I don’t blame him. I understand not heating the pools when it’s hot out, but if you have an unseasonably cool day HEAT THE POOLS! Ridiculous. For this reason alone we won’t return. Food is great! I didn’t have high expectations but I was surprised. The pizza was excellent and the shady taco had awesome tacos and a cool apmosphere. Another huge pro for us is you’re able to bring your own food and beverage anywhere on the property which is great when you have picky kids who don’t eat much. So we packed coolers to take to the pool each day and ate at the restaurants at night. Rooms are small, a little dated, but overall they were clean. I wish getting fresh towels were easier- you have to take your dirty linens somewhere to exchange for fresh ones. Overall we enjoyed our stay despite a few hiccups. If they started heating the pools we’d be back.

Rebekah was such a great help when we got here. She showed us everything we needed to get around successfully and walked us though the nuances of the resort. Location is really idea. Right next to the lake is easy access for the kids and us to swim around and enjoy. Boating was awesome. Easy rental from the marina and they were accommodating when we wanted to switch from a speedboat to a pontoon. If you have a family, the pontoon is definitely the way to go. Spacious and can still go fast. The not so goods are the food situation and the noisy neighbors. If you’re staying in a main or lower level floor, be prepared for it to sound like a heard of elephants day and night. We had to request box fans to try and mask it. You may want to plan on making all your food here rather than messin around with the cluster that is the taco truck or the pizza place. Be ready for long, long waits and a 50/50 chance your food will be good. Overall it is a good place to stay.

"Wonderful Family Vacation Resort"

This was our first year staying at Still Waters Resort and we had a wonderful time. In fact, we already signed up to go back again next summer. Checking in was easy- took about 10 minutes total. Beth was very helpful. We received detailed maps of the resort, coupons to use at attractions in Branson and the marina, an activities schedule and a good run down of how the resort operates. We weren’t hassled about the time share program. It was briefly mentioned and not brought up again. But we decided to give it a try next summer. I’m all for spending less money, so saving a few hundred dollars by listening to a 2 hour presentation is fine with me. I have 2 minor complaints. Upon arriving to our room, our key cards didn’t work. We went back and got a second set and those didn’t work either. They sent someone out with a third set and they stayed to make sure that they worked. The second thing was the WiFi. It only worked about a quarter of the time, and even then, it wasn’t very good. But I didn’t go on vacation to be on my phone, so not a deal breaker at all. We stayed in a 1 bedroom lakefront and it was just that. We were on the bottom level in the “J” building and even had direct access to the path leading to the lake. Our view was absolutely perfect. There was a dishwasher, microwave, oven, stovetop, coffee maker and toaster. We went to Walmart before arrival and got paper goods, and easy to prepare foods. And coffee. It stated online that coffee and filters weren’t provided. It was only about 20 minutes away. Taking out our own garbage and getting new towels is part of a resort, in my opinion. I didn’t mind doing those things at all. The free amenities were an added bonus. Free inner tubes, paddle boats, paddle boards, kayaks and water bicycles. We rented a jet ski one afternoon and it was worth the money. The Oasis pool was perfect for my children. We spent a lot of our time there. They had a movie playing one evening for kids and another afternoon had karaoke. The bar was great and drinks were good. We tried the Shady Taco and Pizza and were satisfied with both. Bridges coffee was also fantastic. I got an iced Oasis each morning and it was delightful and a little cheaper than Starbucks. I don’t mind paying for food and coffee on vacation as I don’t want to do a lot of cooking. My husband likes to relax and I like to go, go, go- and this resort was the perfect mix. He was able to relax and I was able to do lots of activities with our girls without even leaving. Branson was only about 20-30 minutes away and we visited twice. It was nice being close enough to do that- but still have a nice, quiet place not too far away. All in all, it was wonderful and we will be returning.

This was our second stay. First time was about 5 years ago. Property has had several improvements since our first visit. They are currently building a large indoor facility. I was surprised that the coffee shop/market/pizza counter & taco stand were not actually part of the resort. They take a credit card to cover incidentals, but nothing can be charged to the room. We had a 2-bedroom pool-side condo, located by the small pool. It was a convenient location, but the condo was small. It was updated, but lots of corners were cut. For example, the unit had small toilets, loose faucets, and low-end appliances. One of the burners on the stove didn't heat. The dishwasher and washer/dryer were so loud that we could not hear the tv while one was running. The walls had no insulation or sound proofing. We could hear the people in the unit above moving around and using the toilet & shower. The kitchen had very few utensils, just enough plates and silverware to cover the unit occupancy. There was 1 spatula with a broken handle. The only other cooking utensils were meats forks and tongs. The cutting board was warped and melted; pots and pans were warped; and the knives were dull and bent. Other Pros: No daily resort fee. Condo was clean. There are a lot of included activities. We had 3 kids ranging from 3-10, and all had a good time. The resort has a very attractive location on Indian Point. It's away from the bustle of Branson, but close enough to go in if you want. Other Cons: We had to wear wristbands. They are selling memberships. You get the pitch initially when checking in and they called again an hour before check out. I found the timing of both extremely annoying.

Room was not as clean as I prefer. There was a half eaten food around the room, dead bugs, and the sheets were visibly not clean. I called the front desk just before 9pm to ask for new sheets. He was polite and told me he'd send someone right away with new sheets and comforter. I called back at 11 to check on the delivery, as we were waiting to go to bed. The woman who answered sent someone right over. The gentleman who brought the garbage bag with sheets in it set them down at the door and told me he was off of work when I asked if someone was going to make the bed. I don't mind making a bed, but mistakenly assumed that would be part of the service recovery process. I was wrong. No biggie, we made the bed. Fridge door was open upon arrival, so it wasn't cold and had condensed all over the place. Stove burner light was lit the entire stay, despite the stove not being on. There were no paper towels or tissues. Thankfully we brought that stuff. Additionally, the flipper in the drawer was dirty. Counter top was broken. The place stayed cool and didn't smell bad, so that was a plus. It's not horribly out-dated, but you can tell the maintenance folks hadn't been by in a long time. It was one of those placed that had a lot of coats of paint. Oh, and only a single bar of soap was provided, so if you're going, take shampoo and soap. Only other soap was dish soap. Maybe it listed that on the website and I didn't notice. Overall, it felt dirty and I didn't want to be there. Won't be going back. Will stay some place else if I visit Branson again.
