"Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else."
July, 2018
Our stay has been less than pleasant. First of all the hotel is clean, but dated. Beds comfortable. Air condition was great, when it was turned on. The breakfast is less than lacking! Many guests walked into the dining area, then walked back out due to the limited options.
During our stay we left for the day, requested housekeeping. After, returning from being out in 100 degree weather all day only to find housekeeping had turned off our air conditioning while cleaning. Keep in mind the hotel is dated, so it takes a few hours to cool down. While the room was cooling we decided to try and cool off in the dirty, murky pool. That was an experience! A family was out there allowing there probably ten year old son to swim in just his underwear! The other son developed a bloody nose. He sat out w/a paper towel for some time. After, the nose bleed he threw the paper towel in the pool! Instead of the mother actually getting out of the pool and throwing this away, she just removed it from the pool and tossed it aside. Later the other brothers took the paper towel and rang it out in the pool. This was reported to the clerk on duty, plus the “manager” the next morning! After, explaining to the manager all of our concerns she didn’t say one word. Even after telling her I planned on reporting all of these unsanitary conditions! Again, horrible customer service and lack of amenities....you can find much better properties!

"Nice place to stay"
June, 2018
Our room was nice. Not fancy but clean and nice. The pool was dirty. My husband spent an hour easy skimming it and removing bugs and spiders in the bottom of the pool as well. The cinnimon rolls they brag about tasted like warm cardboard. The room though was ok.

"Enjoyed stay"

Everyone was very nice to us. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked well and they had an adequate breakfast bar for us as we usually go out for breakfast. We will definitely stay again.

Clean, reasonable place to stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms appear recently updated and there were new additions to the breakfast bar. We have stayed there several times and always are well rested and satisfied.

I have read some of the other comments which are not favorable, but I wasn't expecting a lot for the price that we paid. So I was pleasantly surprised by the Inn. Older buildings are always going to have their issues. There were two of us and the baby for a quick overnight trip during June. Good location and nice people (help and guests alike). It is an older Inn, but the owners have been updating. Breakfast was good. Great option for the price. I would have no problem staying here again.

"Unpleasant odors in lobby and room"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5

We stayed here two nights. We had reserved this hotel for our stay in Branson because it had high average trip advisor reviews and it was a good value price-wise. The hotel looks nice enough from the outside. But as soon as we walked into the lobby, we were confronted with an odor that reminded us of something old having been water-soaked or even mold. I wrote it off that maybe the hotel had recently dealt with a leak and was still drying out. But that odor persisted strongly the two days that we were there. When we got to our room and opened the door we were introduced to another strange odor; I don’t even know how to describe it; the closest descriptor would be a “mustardy” odor. Even after opening the window all night, that odor never went away. The room had all the key amenities needed. The towels, sheets, bathroom faucets, and furniture were dated; the bottom of the sink had cracks in it by the drain; although the description for the hotel said recently renovated, with the exception of some bedding changes it looked to me like the hotel room was in a time warp from the 1980s. Breakfast offerings were extremely limited. Front desk staff was knowledgeable and efficient. I could’ve dealt with the dated aspects of the room and the limited breakfast because of the low room price. But I would not stay here again because of my concern about what was behind the odors in the lobby and the room.

"Not the right stay for us"

We go to Branson at least three to four times a year. We always stay in our travel trailer or book directly, but this time we tried something different. We went through an agency and bought a "packet" for this trip. Absolutely Do Not do this, unless you are familiar with the hotel they are putting you in. I found out the ticket costs were higher than I can get myself by being a Silver Dollar City pass holder, so noted to buy my own cheaper next time! The hotel was a huge disappointment. I read reviews on Tripadvisor, but I guess the people staying here that were satisfied, or ok with this hotel have lower standards than we do. The location is not bad at all, but the hotel is not good. Upon check-in, the interior is outdated and decorated with that "home interiors" look. The hostess was kind and helpful, but not in uniform, just a t-shirt. On our way to our rooms, I noticed the hallways were also decorated in the outdated colors and style of the lobby. Home interior, and deep burgundy. Our room was the biggest disappointment! When we entered we were immediately taken back from the overwhelming smell of old mold/dampness in the room like something hadn't quite dried out properly. The mattress was old, springy and very uncomfortable. We knew we were not going to stay here. We booked our vacation through TakemetoBranson, aka The Branson Reservation Center, paid 149.99 up front, but when we called to switch hotels, they said it would cancel our trip through them, so we lost our show tickets, and hotel nights. So virtually the whole 149.99, and still had to get a hotel. I am only mentioning this because you need to be aware that they do not give you "nice" hotels, and you lose your whole package if you are not happy. Lesson learned! Point is to make sure you read reviews, look at pictures (which can be deceiving) but mostly stick with the hotels that have standards they are held to by being part of a larger entity.

Some one kept trying to get in my room by turning my door hardware all night. Kept me awake. Told mgmt! Needs an update! I used to stay here years ago. It’s ok! I may or may not stay again. I dunno! They need more security or something. I was worried about my car outside, since this happened!
