"Best home away from home"
March, 2015
We had a terrific time in a 2-bedroom, 2 bath suite for our family of 6. I don't think I could go back to a traditional hotel without a full kitchen and all the amenities of home. It gets stressful and expensive eating out throughout the trip and I was grateful that we could bring our own food and not have to haul pots, pans, dishes, etc. I can't imagine how hard the maids must work to get what is basically an apartment clean every day. The pool is quite small but luckily when we went, we were the only ones using it. Full breakfast every morning (thank you, Charlotte) and appetizers/light dinner served three nights a week. We won't stay anywhere else!

Tip: The two-bedroom suite has a fold-out couch to make a double (we were expecting two queens in one of the rooms like the Residence Inn in Springfield, but they don't have those rooms). The rooms do have fireplaces, though, and lots of amenities so we can't complain!

This hotel is our go-to in Branson. The staff is super nice. The rooms are nice. I haven't tried out their pool or their outdoor space, so I don't know what those are like. Short story: I love the convenient location, but I don't like the renovation updates that they did. Pros: -Great location! Easily get to any theater in Branson within about 10 minutes! -Nice, clean rooms -Nice staff Cons: -Not a ton of vegan or gluten-free breakfast options (as usual). Also not really any breakfast variety day-to-day, which would be nice when you're staying more than a couple days. -Also, they remodeled the units and now they have these glass panels that only go half-way across the shower instead of shower curtains and the water gets all over the floor by the toilet. We had to make sure we had at least one towel on the floor before we turned on the shower. Cool design. Not practical! -Also, they installed handheld shower heads instead of fixed shower heads, which are kind of disgusting to have in a hotel! There's no way of knowing what stranger's body part it's touched or what bacteria is on it after touching another person! Who knows if those shower heads get cleaned at all and now I have to use a potentially unclean shower head when I'm trying to get clean myself?! No thanks!

Not on the main drag but close. Still must drive to attractions. Pool small but rooms updated. Nice to have a full kitchen. Neill was so accommodating to us as we had an issue with one of bathrooms. People super friendly and a good breakfast buffet. Nice and clean and quiet! Would recommend to anyone and great for families.

"Nice to have a fridge and cooktop"

Stayed here for about a week, it was nice to be able to cook and have a refrigerator and not have to eat every meal out, great to be able to bring leftovers back from a restaurant and have a place to put them. Breakfast was included and was the usual fare, eggs breakfast meats, waffles, cold cereal, hot cereal, yogurts, coffee and juices. There was some sort of little league baseball tournament in town so hotel was full of young teen kids, but the room was still relatively quiet.

Location was good. Not far from main events yet not in the busy area of Branson. Staff was nice especially house keeping. I was disappointed because I thought it was recently renovated. It had a feel like it's been 2 yr or so renovated. We had this weird thing going on in the walls. Every time someone in our room, above or next to us run water we heard a thumping like sound in the pipes or something. We brought this to the staff's attention the next morning. We never saw a maintenance man or had anyone to follow up. The reason we didn't move to another room is because they didn't have one to accommodate us. In addition to that we also heard dogs as we walked passed rooms, I'm not used to that. My husband booked the hotel and forgot to find that important info out. We did not have a good view out our window of Branson as we would have like to. Last complaint there was a slight shut up musty smell especially in the room we slept in. We have stayed in many other Residence Inn's this is one of the least favorite. Wish we had rented a condo and I would recommend you to do so. I borderline want to rate it poor but because of some positives I decided not to. We made the best of our stay.
