"Just ok..."

Our air conditioning never did work. Out king Jacuzzi suite was right adjacent to the atrium where the pool was and was way too loud. Free breakfast....well, at least it was free. The bacon was good. That was it. But I could live off bacon. Jacuzzi in nearly every room, so that's not really a special selling point if that is what you want. And Jacuzzi tub is in the bathroom and does fit two people....would be more romantic in the actual room. Housekeeping are persistent even when you have told them you don't need anything and they keep waking you up! There was NO free HBO like advertised and also no free WiFi. I was very disappointed in this place.

Lodge of the Ozarks has been around for awhile but they make every effort to assure you have a comfortable stay. They were very accommodating by providing us with a refrigerator on two of our stays for medication. This hotel is centrally located and you can walk to several attractions and restaurants which is a but plus, given the traffic at certain times of the day. They have a very nice indoor pool with door that open to the outside with comfortable table and chairs to relax on. They provide with your stay an extensive free hot breakfast that includes all you would need for a hearty or light breakfast. It's your choice. All in all, this hotel is comfortable if you keep in mind it's age and the fact that it is "lived in."

I thought I reviewed this already but seems like I have not! Here you go- My family decided to go to Branson for Turkey day, my parents, my sister, her 3 yr old son and my family. It was a last minute type thing so we decided to look on Groupon and found a deal. $57/ night honestly, if you read my Orlando review you'd think I'd shun cheap hotels but we decided to do it anyway. The hotel- lodge was nice lodge style facility. Beds weren't as fluffy and comfy but I didn't care I brought my own pillow!**bring your own pillow or mattress topper if u want more comfort here. My parents don't like soft beds so they were comfy. And the kids didn't care! **Rooms have no fridge, no microwave, only a small coffee maker. We were in a central location in Branson and it was good because we were close to food and Walmart.. we forgot some items so this helped out. The lodge has a pool that is heated and could use extra care. The workout facility room was small and needed some air. There was only a treadmill, a bicycle, and a weight lifting set. I think there were some free weights as well. The hotel was older but still had a 80s 90s charm to it.. Breakfast was decent. Small bar with bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy, potatoes. I found this quite interesting, there was a music venue in the bottom floor and it looked nice but hardly anyone was down there for a "musical show" it was basically a guy singing with background tracks. He had a good voice but I wish there were more people and a live band and cocktails? Anyways it was a free show. Ok so our Thanksgiving meal was a pre ordered meal from Cracker Barrel! It was delicious and worth it! No hassle of cooking and no dishes to clean up! We had so much food we shared with some staff members. It was good to just have a meal with family. After that we headed to Silver dollar city. Which you can read my other review if you need more info! Just know this for those of you going to SDC. Thursdays are cheaper tickets if you buy at the grocery store or if you hotel sells them for cheaper you can get tickets for $35 instead of $60 something. Anyways I hope this helps you and your travels in Branson!! From one traveler to another, Have fun making memories! I❤nashville signing off

I took my mother to Branson for her birthday. When we arrived I noticed trash in the room trash can and old food in the frig. I thought then well it was just over looked. It wasn't until the next day that she found that her bed had dried pee in it. She had already slept in it one night.

One of the worst motels I have stayed in. The pictures of this place are not truthful. The beds had a sheet with a even thinner blanket that looked like someone had taken a knife to it. No microwave in room so walked down to main lobby to see if they had one. The front desk pointed to a dark room which I had to look for the light, found a out of date microwave that was so filthy I didn't want to use it. Had to wear my winter jacket to their continental breakfast because it was so cold. Hallways have no heat either. While we were eating our breakfast an employee was preparing silverware and wrapping it in napkins. When he found problems with the silverware he just took his hand and wiped it off and continued wrapping it. We were appalled. Do not stay here, is my suggestion. Filthy! ! ! !

My family booked a room here for 4 days. The room smelled bad and was unclean. Stains on the sheets, dirty carpet, unstocked bathroom. We only stayed 2 night and couldn't stand anymore. We left after attempting to get a refund unsuccessfully and went and stated at the Fairfield Inn. Would not recommend this facility to anyone.
