"Great hotel on the strip"
June, 2016
This hotel is located across the street from the Ride the ducks on the strip. It's very clean and comfortable. We was very happy with our room and the staff was very friendly. It has a fairly small indoor pool which my granddaughter loved. It's definitely priced well compared to some of the other hotels! I'd recommend this hotel as we've stayed here 3x now.
Tip: If you want your room cleaned, don't forget to put the card in your door before you leave for the day.

"Beautiful hotel"
March, 2015
When choosing this hotel, I read other reviews. Many stated that the beds were rock hard. They were hard and I do prefer soft, but they weren't bad. I slept fine. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. The only issue we had was our microwave was old and would shut off in the middle of running to cool down. The facility was elegant and inviting. The room had a fridge and microwave, everything you need. We requested a balcony and got one. We enjoyed the pool and easy access to other attractions. Would stay here again.
Tip: Close to shopping and other attractions.

"Valentine's Day Retreat at Hotel Grand Victorian"
February, 2015
My husband and I traveled with another couple for a weekend stay over Valentine's Day. We had such a great time and were very impressed with the Jacuzzi suite with balcony. Clean, comfortable, quiet, & relaxing. Too cold for the balcony. Received 8 inches of snow and the staff were beyond excellent. They offered a later checkout due to weather and staff came and shoveled out all the vehicles and had the whole lot cleared and de-iced. Wow! they were all just fabulous. We also liked the pool, hot tub, breakfast and tea and the exercise room. Thank you!
Tip: Right by the Tanger Outlet Mall and right on the strip with all the shows. Super Convenient

"Beautiful hotel"
February, 2015
My three year old son and I took a trip away for the weekend and stayed at the Hotel Grand Victorian. Beautiful hotel and lovely rooms! The piano and huge teddy bears in the lobby were definitely a hit with my son. The people were extremely nice and helpful as well. We cannot wait to use our frequent visitor card next time :)

"Great location but tired decor"

We stayed at this hotel for the value per night, downtown location, and free breakfast. The only problem we had was with our air conditioner. It did take 3 times to get it fixed. However the front desk was very attentive to our complaint and fixed quickly. Breakfast had a good selection and changed daily. Location is fabulous if you want down town!

The staff were all very professional and always helpful. The room was clean. The bath is very small. Air conditioner ran all night. The hotel needs updating, the outside is need of paint. Breakfast was ok. All prepared food. Powered eggs. It was $100 a night. It's is a good location right on 76.

"Great Family Hotel"

Our first point of contact was Jeffrey at the front desk. He's great! He made check-in a breeze and was quick to joke around with us. Made sure we were happy with our room and pointed us in the right direction for the amenities. This hotel is a great place to unwind after a hectic day. We were travelling with a teenager who appreciated the pools and gameroom. We even played some old school pinball. The indoor pool was our favorite as it was bigger and went up to 6' which is rare in a hotel. The outdoor pool was nicer for the smaller kids. Breakfast was done well, there was a decent selection and it was restocked very often. The staff was really friendly and tables were cleaned quickly. Afternoon tea and cookies included some big homemade type cookies that were awesome and a great afternoon snack. There were a couple of negatives. First, is housekeeping. The coffee pot in our room was not cleaned after the guests before us or during our stay. General cleanliness of our room was just acceptable. Beds were not actually made when the room was serviced, they just brought the covers up to the pillows. Second was the bathroom setup. The shower and toilet are in a separate room which is very small. There was no place to put clean clothes or hang towels if we wanted to reuse them. Unfortunately, there was also no fan or ventillation in that room so getting out of the shower was sort of a sticky mess. Overall, the positive did outweigh the negative and I would gladly stay here again. The price is right and I felt it was a safe place for my teenager to have some room to roam a little and meet other kids.

"Nice Place To Stay"

This is an older but nice place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Rooms need some repairs and updating. We could not use some of the lamps in the room because the plugs would fall out of the outlets. What's up with that? It is nice that it is on the strip in the middle of everything.

"The Good and not so good!"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

First the good! A beautiful Victorian Hotel located right on the strip near many of the theaters. TJ, front desk greeted us warmly and assisted us with things going on in Branson. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. He also followed up to make sure our room was ok and we had everything we needed. Hotel was immaculate. Room was a good size, refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine. A separate vanity area. . Outside balcony although it overlooked the parking lot. Good bedding . Good a/c. Quiet even though we were right by the game room. The hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool and a hot tub all of which we did not use because we were so busy touring. Breakfast buffet was plentiful. We are not big breakfast people but the buffet would have been enjoyed by all guests. The chef was in the dining room everyday, adding hot and fresh food throughout breakfast. He was busy with assisting guests, cleaning tables and countertops. Every day the breakfast items changed. How nice! The not so good....housekeeping. The coffeemaker was not cleaned out from the previous guests. The ice bucket was not emptied. The ironing board and iron was not put away. They missed our room one day even though the "Do not disturb" sign was not on the door. Not that big of a deal but when we reported it to the front desk the lady there, never even apologized. Just asked, "Do you need clean towels?" The other front desk personnel would have been more diplomatic. There was no regular tea bags during all the days we were there. When asked, the same lady replied, "Tea is from 2 to 4." I said, my husband just wants to make a cup of hot tea and there isn't any "regular" tea bags out there, just green tea. She replied again that tea is served from 2-3. This lady certainly was having a couple bad days. Too bad. Otherwise we would have rated this hotel to very good. With better housekeeping, we would have rated it excellent. We travel extensively and have stayed at nicer hotels where housekeeping was top notch and front desk attendants, polite, friendly and helpful. One last problem was getting in and out of the hotel. No automatic doors. It was very difficult to open the doors to bring in luggage or using the hotel cart. Another guest was attempting to open the door and roll out the luggage cart. Nope, it doesn't work. Lucky I was there to hold open the door. No, we will definitely not stay here again. The area is surrounded by many hotels on the strip where we will stay next time.
