"Great hotel on the strip"
June, 2016
This hotel is located across the street from the Ride the ducks on the strip. It's very clean and comfortable. We was very happy with our room and the staff was very friendly. It has a fairly small indoor pool which my granddaughter loved. It's definitely priced well compared to some of the other hotels! I'd recommend this hotel as we've stayed here 3x now.
Tip: If you want your room cleaned, don't forget to put the card in your door before you leave for the day.

"Beautiful hotel"
March, 2015
When choosing this hotel, I read other reviews. Many stated that the beds were rock hard. They were hard and I do prefer soft, but they weren't bad. I slept fine. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. The only issue we had was our microwave was old and would shut off in the middle of running to cool down. The facility was elegant and inviting. The room had a fridge and microwave, everything you need. We requested a balcony and got one. We enjoyed the pool and easy access to other attractions. Would stay here again.
Tip: Close to shopping and other attractions.

"Valentine's Day Retreat at Hotel Grand Victorian"
February, 2015
My husband and I traveled with another couple for a weekend stay over Valentine's Day. We had such a great time and were very impressed with the Jacuzzi suite with balcony. Clean, comfortable, quiet, & relaxing. Too cold for the balcony. Received 8 inches of snow and the staff were beyond excellent. They offered a later checkout due to weather and staff came and shoveled out all the vehicles and had the whole lot cleared and de-iced. Wow! they were all just fabulous. We also liked the pool, hot tub, breakfast and tea and the exercise room. Thank you!
Tip: Right by the Tanger Outlet Mall and right on the strip with all the shows. Super Convenient

"Beautiful hotel"
February, 2015
My three year old son and I took a trip away for the weekend and stayed at the Hotel Grand Victorian. Beautiful hotel and lovely rooms! The piano and huge teddy bears in the lobby were definitely a hit with my son. The people were extremely nice and helpful as well. We cannot wait to use our frequent visitor card next time :)

I understand this hotel is supposed to represent the Victorian style or era, but it more accurately portrays an old outdated musty moldy smelling hotel instead. I mean the decor to include the bedding looks as though it has NEVER been updated or replaced. I felt gross and dirty staying here. I recommend the Residence Inn or Fairfield Inn which are both nearby.

Would have been completely satisfied with hotel, but the beds are so hard. I came home after stay with crick in neck and backache. Why can't hotel have nice pillow top beds??? I didn't sleep well either night of our two night stay. Was satisfied with everything else though....nice staff, pleasant surprise cookies between 2-4pm. Breakfast was fine, they changed the menu a little on our stay of 2 nights. The pool seemed nice, didn't use it. Would recommend and would possibly stay again, if new beds were there. Husband liked the shower. Rooms needs darkening shades.

My mom and had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Grand Victorian during the off season in Branson. This hotel is centrally located and has great parking in front and around back. Tanger outlets are right behind the hotel. We loved the old Victorian charm that this place offers. Our room was extremely clean along with the rest of the hotel. Loved the balcony in our room and indoor pool with hot tub and even a fireplace! I'm giving this four stars because breakfast needs some work but the breakfast room is cute and inviting. Also some of the cushions were falling apart in the pool room. Please either replace or throw them out!

I recently traveled to Branson in the off season because of timeshare presentation. The company booked my lodging at the Hotel Grand Victorian (HGV), and I could not have been more pleased. HGV is centrally located on the 76 strip. Food, shopping, attractions, even Walmart is minutes away. Upon our arrival we was greeted by a friendly staff member. HGV has an older Victorian look which is nice. The room had 2 queen beds, mini fridge, microwave, and even a balcony. Although it was to cold to be sitting outside it would be nice to use in warmer weather. The bathroom is small but the water pressure in the shower was great. The pool and hot tub was was amazing. It is open until midnight and even had a fireplace in the pool area. It has a 24 hour game room next to the pool with air hockey and a few video games. The food was awesome (scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, hash browns, cereal, bagels, yogurt, coffee juice. All the staff at HGV were friendly and helpful in giving directions and suggestions of things to do. I was extremely satisfied with my stay here and recommend it. I stayed in off season and had the run of the hotel and town, not sure about peak season but I am sure HGV handles it like a champ.

"Best time to visit Branson"

If you snooze you lose, at least you do if you close your hotel for a month or two after Xmas. January is my birthday month and THE best time to visit the Branson area. You have the run of the place and the scenery has that midwinter Andrew Wyeth thing going on. Booked a birthday getaway night at the Grand Victorian for the first time as my usual haunts were closed. The lady that made the reservation played ball with the price and got me a terrific rate. T.J. at check in was friendly and very helpful getting us the type of room we were looking for. Awesome pool and hot tub room with a fireplace. The game room had an air hockey game. My daughter beat me 7-3. Any hotel with an air hockey game gets a bonus star from the phantom. Breakfast was so-so and they lose a star but the air hockey table keeps the at full points. Highly recommended.
