"Great hotel on the strip"
June, 2016
This hotel is located across the street from the Ride the ducks on the strip. It's very clean and comfortable. We was very happy with our room and the staff was very friendly. It has a fairly small indoor pool which my granddaughter loved. It's definitely priced well compared to some of the other hotels! I'd recommend this hotel as we've stayed here 3x now.
Tip: If you want your room cleaned, don't forget to put the card in your door before you leave for the day.

"Beautiful hotel"
March, 2015
When choosing this hotel, I read other reviews. Many stated that the beds were rock hard. They were hard and I do prefer soft, but they weren't bad. I slept fine. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. The only issue we had was our microwave was old and would shut off in the middle of running to cool down. The facility was elegant and inviting. The room had a fridge and microwave, everything you need. We requested a balcony and got one. We enjoyed the pool and easy access to other attractions. Would stay here again.
Tip: Close to shopping and other attractions.

"Valentine's Day Retreat at Hotel Grand Victorian"
February, 2015
My husband and I traveled with another couple for a weekend stay over Valentine's Day. We had such a great time and were very impressed with the Jacuzzi suite with balcony. Clean, comfortable, quiet, & relaxing. Too cold for the balcony. Received 8 inches of snow and the staff were beyond excellent. They offered a later checkout due to weather and staff came and shoveled out all the vehicles and had the whole lot cleared and de-iced. Wow! they were all just fabulous. We also liked the pool, hot tub, breakfast and tea and the exercise room. Thank you!
Tip: Right by the Tanger Outlet Mall and right on the strip with all the shows. Super Convenient

"Beautiful hotel"
February, 2015
My three year old son and I took a trip away for the weekend and stayed at the Hotel Grand Victorian. Beautiful hotel and lovely rooms! The piano and huge teddy bears in the lobby were definitely a hit with my son. The people were extremely nice and helpful as well. We cannot wait to use our frequent visitor card next time :)

I'm writing this review because it is very very hard to receive good treatment anymore especially in Branson. My family and I have been coming down to Branson faithfully since 1986 at least once a year, we are located in the st. Louis area. We have received good service that was friendly but never fast and efficient in Branson the first ten or so years of coming down. As I got older and had children I would bring them down along with my parents as well. My children are moved out of the house and are not teenagers anymore and we still make it a point to come to Branson. This year was different however, my father passed away in June and my mom and dad were a little more than a week away from their 50 th wedding anniversary. My mom lives by herself now in a 6 bedroom and 3 bathroom house. I live close to her and I may be moving in temporarily to help her downsize into a apartment. This was the first year without my dad and to make things worse his birthday was December 22. So I suggested since my children had plans and I am a only child I suggested to my mom that we go to Branson for a few days and get her out of the big empty depressing house. I called different places that we stayed at in the past and most of them were already closed. And the timeshare that my parents own there was no room there and they were not helpful finding us a room somewhere. A friend suggested that we try the hotel Grand Victorian. So I called and made reservations 2 people 2 beds 5 nights. We stayed from December 20th- December 25th. I spoke with an associate named Elizabeth and she was very professional. She insured me that we would have a non smoking room easy and convenient for my mom to maneuver around. I also told Elizabeth how my mom doesn't like hard beds and that she is picky and due to the circumstances I wanted everything to be perfect. My mom had not gotten out of bed for over three weeks before this and would have been happy to stay there so I wanted it to be perfect. We checked in Tues and wow the room was amazing no sign of pets my mom is highly allergic to dogs and no sign of cigarette smoke. The room was close and convenient for my mom to get in and out room 217. To top it off Elizabeth remembered how my mom hated hard mattresses and she went above and beyond and had housekeeping put mattress toppers on top of both beds I guess because nobody knew which bed she would take and the mattress might not have been hard but wow no problem either way my mom was super happy. The room was spacious and not a typical closed in motel feeling. We had a beautiful balcony and if we were on a higher floor we would have had a better view but we had a amazing view as it was in the back of the hotel could not have asked for better. My mom forgot about the breakfast and the indoor pool and hot tub and Elizabeth reminded her and also informed us of hot tea and cookies in the parlor everyday between 2-4 and that right there made my mom so happy, because there was not a whole lot of shows going on in town. I had explained to Elizabeth the situation and reason for our visit and she looked up and printed out a list of shows and theaters and phone numbers of all the shows going on that week so we were not looking all over and she gave us a list of restaurants and the hours which was very helpful. My mom was so impressed she has done nothing but tell all her church friends and widows group friends and they are talking about taking a trip to Branson just to stay at the grand Victorian. My mom said that that is the kind of hotel that if the weather is bad or nothing to do or you just want to relax, you don't have to leave the hotel to enjoy yourself. The rooms were clean we asked for a light bulb because one didn't work and we had a new one within 3 minutes of my call. My mom didn't have a swim suit and Elizabeth told my mom exactly where to go to get a swimsuit that was for a classy elderly woman instead of a young girl bikini. My mom was so impressed with Elizabeth and the grand Victorian hotel, that we have already been back. When down there the week of Christmas I signed up and paid for a Branson Hilton landing getaway and it included 3 days and 2 nights at the Hilton on the landing, you got 2 tickets to the titanic and 2 tickets to the veterans memorial museum and 2 buffet tickets to golden corral all for $99 only thing is we had to go on a weekday Sun through Thursday in January. So I set it up we would check in on January 3rd and check out January 5th. January 3rd came and we went to the Hilton they said we had to attend a presentation of a timeshare and get reimbursed for the stay and we drove all the way from st Louis and were very upset and too tired to turn around. We decided to eat at Steak and shake and then go and see if the grand Victorian was even open and find a place for the night and go back in the morning. Guess who we ran into at Steak and shake? That's right the hotel Grand Victorian superstar Elizabeth Warwick I think she said her last name is. She was there with her daughter. We told her how I got scammed and she got us a room at the grand Victorian said they were open we stayed in room 209 she got the mattress toppers on top of both beds before we checked in amazing and it was not golden corral or anything like that but she gave us a gift card for $5 at shorty smalls and told us they closed at 8 pm . She gave us a list of things to do and places open not much but mom had a swimsuit and not only did we stay one night we stayed until the 5th as planned and it was all because of Elizabeth and the grand Victorian. The hotel Grand Victorian is a great hotel but having Elizabeth working for them and the dedication she has to the hotel Grand Victorian and their guests and the way she goes above and beyond make the hotel Grand Victorian a excellent hotel. Places like Branson have hundreds of motels/ hotels and most are privately owned or places that nobody has heard of unless in Branson and even then they change owners and names a lot we can stay anywhere with all the choices and anyone can stay anywhere with all the choices and some are more economical than the grand Victorian but none of the others have Elizabeth or anyone like her that goes above and beyond to make the guests feel more comfortable than they do at home, wow that says something. Your company did a great job of recruiting Elizabeth and my mom and I are already making plans to come back in the spring and unless we are staying at the time share, we will always be at the grand Victorian if not, especially as long as Elizabeth is with the company. Crazy thing that really amazed my mom and I is that all the help she was to us the week of December 20-25th I think she only worked twice and when we came back in January and she bent over backwards sideways and we were one of 5 rooms in the whole place, we found out that she was laid off for the season and she would be back in March. We are extremely happy that she is coming back in March that is why we are waiting until spring to come back, but I think you should have her work sometimes during the off season. I am not saying that the rest of the staff is not great, we were impressed by everything but Elizabeth is what made our stay go from a ordinary stay to a special trip that created a lot of memories. We didn't decorate for Christmas but it was so warm and cozy by the fireplace we had fun just being there not having a mess to clean. Thanks for everything Hotel Grand Victorian and more importantly thank you Elizabeth for going above and beyond to make us lifelong guests of the grand Victorian. I will stay there with my kids and grandkids generations to come.

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are clean, it is centrally located, the staff is friendly and courteous. The breakfast is good and you eat off of real flatware, not Styrofoam. We stayed there 3 times this and will be going back next year.

We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Victorian in Branson. The staff was very kind, housekeeping thorough - and very kind to return to our room at a later time as requested. The central location was helpful for us, making the hotel easy to find and access. The breakfast had nice variety of options, and the breakfast room was very pleasant. Tea and cookies are offered in the afternoon, which is a nice touch. The decor in the lobby and room is in keeping with the Victorian theme of the hotel, giving it a bit of the feel of a bed 'n' .breakfast. The highlight for us was the comfort of the beds - which we were told were brand new - and ultra comfy. Got a great night's rest after two days of travel in the region - which was #1 for us!

I was looking for a place with an indoor pool, preferrably one that we could get to without having to go outside. This hotel has it. Breakfast was good. The rooms were good. We brought our dog. I think next time I'm going to see if we can stay on the side that faces the strip, just because I think it might be fun to watch the cars.
