"Not worth the price."
January, 2015
The hotel grounds were really nice and well manicured. the parking garage was a little confusing but it was well lit and clean. My deluxe king room was not so deluxe. the bed was comfortable and the room was overall clean, but the furniture had some stains and the room felt "used". the view from the room was ok. we ordered room service and the food was amazing, however the "hot" breakfast was "warm". the room service attendant was on time and very professional. all of the staff were nice and welcoming, just expected a little more eye contact from the front desk. overall a good experience but not great.

"An Impressive Complex"

By mistake, I put this review under 'Branson Landing', considering the Hilton Promenade as part of the larger complex. I've now moved it to its proper place. We stayed here four nights, and it is an impressive facility. It has two separate hotel towers, a convention centre, a shopping complex, all on an expansive property right on the waterfront of Lake Taneycomo. You can't beat the location. The complex is at the foot of Main Street - the 'strip' -, has a water and fire show with fountains and is home to a multitude of high end stores and restaurants. Across the road is a sightseeing train station, and there are boat rides available on the lake side. A river walk provided an excellent opportunity to view the area from the water's edge. Add cafes and specialty shops, and this could be another San Antonio. The hotel has several restaurant options right in each building if you didn't want to venture outside the facility. The rooms themselves were out of this world. First class! Large bathrooms even accommodating a stackable washer-dryer. As well, we had a small balcony patio overlooking the roof and across to the convention centre. The lighting in the bathroom was superb! One of the nicest, most convenient features (first time we have had this!) was an ice-maker right in our little fridge built in as part of the kitchenette. So handy! There were no dishes, but this could easily be a suite. Despite all the available conveniences, the largesse of the hotel made it less homey. As part of a tour group, we stayed in the south tower that did not have the pool, reception desk or breakfast room, so it was always a walk in open air (sometimes very cold and rainy) across the walkway and patio areas to the main building. We were not impressed with the cleaning of the room - sock lint was on the bathroom floor till the 3rd day and used towels and glasses were not always replaced - or cleaned. Not that we really needed it, but bedding was not changed during that time, just the sheets pulled up. One day, the room was not made up till after 6:00 pm. Everything is new and modern, so the lack of attention is not as obvious in the short run. In the breakfast room, coffee was served, and it was a challenge to get someone to refill a coffee cup. On the last two mornings, service was better, when there was a change of staff. Certainly this facility has a right to boast an excellence that is beyond what you might expect at a standard hotel. It's location and the amenities are spectacular. There are just a few kinks to work out.

Given the Junior Suite overlooking the fountains and Lake Taneycomo - beautiful balcony, room, area - felt like we were in a Hallmark Movie! Lots to see in the area and lots to do! Glad we chose this area over Theater area.

First off, the location of the hotel is perfect, right on the promenade of the landing. I loved sitting out on the balcony and just chilling out. The hotel itself was very nice, the rooms were spacious and very comfortable and includes everything you could possibly want in a hotel room. The indoor pool is like any other hotel indoor pool but it has a hot tub, which a lot of hotels seem to not have as much anymore. Overall a really nice hotel and made my Branson trip very memorable!

"Good but not great."

Shower door not sealed and puddled on floor. Housekeeping had a hard time replacing the dirty paper coffee cups. Twice we had to rinse out the cups from the night before. This happened last year also so not a one time issue. Love the location and besides the two issues, we do like the hotel.
