"Expected more for the price"
October, 2018 NEW
Price was kind of high for what you get.... Hotel was okay, its outdated, could have been a little cleaner. Lots of stuff to do on site, however, it all cost extra $$. Waterpark was okay, my 10 and 7 year old got bored after 45 minutes or so.

"Needs updates"

Overall fairly clean. Outside elevator disgusting and we found a roach in our room on the last night. A safe in the room would be nice. Also, a better comforter or bedspread that actually covers the entire bed would be nice. The waterpark really geared toward young kids, not a lot for older kids to do. Kids are allowed in one of hot tubs but workers don’t ensure that they stay out of the adult only one. If you are an adult needing a break from kids, you aren’t going to get it in the hot tubs.

"Awesome place for the baby!"

We stayed for the first time with my 1.5 year old. I was really hesitant on whether or not the park would be worth the money. Definitely was! That is the only thing that kept him busy in the evenings! And he slept like a rock! Too little too enjoy the other perks of staying but we will be back to test those out as well!

Tip: You may have to walk a little ways to the water park, it's not all connected, but not bad!

The Grand Country in Branson was quite the trip for our family. The rooms are more like motel rooms so just be aware if you are looking for a hotel experience. With that being said the perks that come with doing a stay package is pretty good (food, shows, games, etc). The worst park of the whole trip was the water park. It was dirty and the management was very inconsiderate. They let my child go down the water slides one day and would not the next because they said he was not tall enough even though he was and let him slide the day before. The manager ended writing up the young gentleman who let my son slide that day and blamed my wife. All I can say is that our family will never go there again. The motel staff was very nice and tried to accommodate us the best they could but the waterpark management was terrible. Therefore, while I enjoyed the shows and games available (you can go there without staying) at the facility my family will not be staying here again.

"Great Family Christmas"

Reviewed September 24, 2018 NEW
We took our 4 children and their families for our Christmas holiday together. The grandchildren had a great time. Water park excellent, shows were all great fun, good choices for food! Price was very reasonable. We spent a total of about 300.00 per family for a great 3 days weekend with wonderful memories. They all love it. Spent less than we would have if we had bought gifts and it will be lifetime memories for our grandchildren. Plan to do again!

Long Story Short. We got in late on August 31st, and everyone went straight to bed. The next morning after the first person took a shower and dried off, they noticed a used pad between the towels. We alerted the management, which they told us they would look into. They stated they sent the housekeeping inspector in to investigate and replace the towels. I went by the front desk twice after that. The first time, the manager on duty was busy and another employee said they knew it was being looked into. When we checked out, I was able to talk to the weekend manager and she stated she could not do anything for us as it would have to be her boss, which wasn't there. I have also tried emailing the manager and have not gotten a response in relation to this. I have decided not to share the photo due to the graphic nature.

"Water park decent, horrible rooms"

The indoor water park is nice to have (although it could be a lot cleaner). Rooms however are horrible. Very very old and outdated. And our rooms had bugs everywhere. You would expect for the price you pay the rooms would be alot nicer. For the same money i would recommend staying castle rock.
