My family and I had a great vacation at Grand Country Inn. The water park is well maintained and there are plenty of staff watching out. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

"Never stay here again"
Reviewed October, 2015
Our family stayed here for one night and we will not do it again. We checked in with the front desk around noon. Our room wasn't ready so we went to the water park. We kept checking in with them for hours and finally after 5 pm I went to the manager to talk. I had to explain that my kids were tired and we had no room to stay in after paying them in advance. I wasn't happy and I made it known to him. After another hour we finally got put in a room directly across from the elivator. Our refrigerator didn't work so they had to send a maintance man to fix it. Again we left our room to allow him to fix it. After finally getting in our room I went to the coke machine and had it take my money without getting my drink. This was just a bad experience for our family and we won't go back.
Tip: Wouldn't recomend it.

"Fun for the whole family."

My kids went wild upon seeing the clubhouse room. They loved the bunk bed and tv on the wall. The activities are endless. Lots of mini golf, swimming, and shows. The pizza is awesome and the room was clean. The resort is located in the perfect location.

"Nice for younger kids and preteens"
Reviewed March, 2015
Traveled with husband and 3 teen boys. We all had fun. We are an active family so didnt mind walking everywhere bc resort is open air not closed under one roof. I liked that most venues on property had late hours often open until 12am even on weekdays. We stayed in the average 2 queen room with rollaway bed which was actuallya real bed. The queen beds were not real comfortable. The waterpark was included and you get free unlimited ice tea but you pay sepatately for laser tag, golf, arcade, etc. I felt like we may have made out better financially getting a bigger more comfortable room elsewhere that was cheaper and using extra money to do specialized attractions. The 3 night 4 day trip with food and hotel came to about $1000 for 5 people which wasnt too bad. The resort was not packed for spring break which was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend for younger or preteens...my older teens had fun but probably would have enjoyed ziplining and go carting which we could not fit in budget after paying for resort rate rooms.
Tip: Must walk to different resort activities or drive. Beds were not comfortable for me. Rollaway befs were nice. Most things open till 12am. Water in water slides was very cold!

"Excellent Family Getaway!"
Reviewed February, 2015
I took my three kids (9,10,12) to Branson to get away for a weekend and spend some quality time together. Grand Country Inn/ Indoor & Outdoor Water Park provided EVERYTHING we needed to have a great time and not have to drive around town. We were able to enjoy a huge indoor water park in February, walk across the parking lot to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as watch the infamous Branson shows. All with a 30 second walk! I would highly recommend Grand Country Inn/ Indoor & Outdoor Water Park for a change of pace with the family.

"Fun for kids. Rooms need Updating."
Reviewed January, 2015
My children had a blast at the arcade and indoor water park! We could of stayed there the whole trip and they would have been satisfied. I will say the rooms need a little updating. Also, the housekeeping leaves you two towels and asking for more is like pulling teeth.
Tip: In the winter months you do need to drive to the indoor water park. There is no indoor walkway connecting one building to another.

"Great value using Groupon!"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed May 27, 2016 NEW

All interaction with the employees was professional and friendly. The room was perfectly clean. Our only complaint was that they put us in one of the distant buildings and we couldn't get a strong enough wifi signal to even use it. Otherwise, no complaints. The indoor water park was neat, but it didn't seem ventilated well, nor did the other indoor pool. In fact, the other indoor pool was so hot inside, we didn't stay. We went off season, so I am sure that makes a difference on service. The buffet was typical buffet food. Nothing to write home about, but edible. With our show tickets, we got buy-one-get-one-half-off, so that was a good value. The free tea/water/coffee is available at every place they sell food, so not sure why someone else had a problem. However, coffee was strong and only unsweet tea. Everything was pretty pricey. 10 minutes of laser tag for $8.00? The only thing we sprang for on property was the indoor mini-golf. It was fun and we enjoyed it. We only saw one show on property, the comedy show. We would have preferred the animal show as we felt that it would have been the most family friendly. Based on the show schedules, we chose the comedy show. The music in between the comedy was cheesy at best. In fact, based on the women's clothing, slinky dance moves, at times, and songs like "Fever," it might have been a little racy for a "family" show. We were shocked to find that after two hours of some off-color jokes here and there and some sultry, sexy songs and dances, they felt it necessary to suddenly dress modestly, act prim and proper and sing a song about Jesus giving you joy? Hmmm... we found that a little disrespectful and blasphemous. It was as if they felt it necessary to give a wink and a nod to God at the end. We are Christians, but felt it would have been more respectful to God to leave that out, or do a little cleaning up on the show all the way through, and keep it clean and family friendly. One other thing, the music got REALLY loud. I don't understand why live shows feel they have to torture you with loud music/singing. When you see the senior citizens holding their ears, you know you aren't crazy. Overall, the show was enjoyable, but there were times when we cringed. We would recommend The Grand Country Inn, but we would definitely do Groupon again and would go off season.

"Great place to stay for a family "

This was our first visit to Grand Country. We are long time Branson goers. The rooms were awesome nice comfortable. The package deals they have are worth the money. All access to water park show tickets for two shows for everyone black light golf 2 pizzas and a 10 buck game card. Definitely worth the value. Now the only bad review I have is the amount of chlorine they put in the water at splash country! Either it's too much or the building needs better ventilation. When you walk in the smell of bleach will hit you Hard!! Other than that everything was great!
