We just stayed one night with our grandsons ages 7&12 and we loved it! The boys had a blast in the waterpark. We stayed in a room with the "kids bunk room" which was really great! The room was clean and the boys had their own tv in their bunk room. We ordered pizzas which were ok. We also did the mini golf which was $2.00 off with our stay. It was great too! The ONLY negative is that the waterpark says you can't bring any drinks, coolers or snacks in but their "grill" was closed where you were suppose to be able to buy them. I would have liked to bring my own AND it would have been nice to have "free"coffee in the lobby (there are small single serve coffee pots in the room). We would stay there again...we enjoyed our visit!
After a three day stay and eating all over town I must say the grand country buffet is by far the best, as far as value and quality There's also a full kid friendly resort attached which on our next trip we plan to stay in, indoor water park and putt putt golf I'm told
We reserved a King room with the bunk house and it was great. Clean room with a microwave and a fridge was exactly what we needed. Our 7 year old enjoyed the indoor water attraction and I liked that it was small and easy to keep an eye on things.

Our aunt was gracious enough to bring a total of 15 of us for a small family vacation. It was decided on us going here for the free water park for the kids with us (7 ages 3-10). I'm a little snobby when it comes to hotels due to my travels for work and staying at mid-high level hotels wherever I go but I presumed that this place being as "family friendly" and having "new rooms" as they advertise would knock it out of the park. They did not. We got two sets of two adjoining rooms near the water park. (Mind you this is November and the outside areas are closed). The first thing I have a huge problem with is that all the rooms open to outside air. The rooms are poorly insulated and everything and everyone who so much as tiptoes by the door sounds like they're in the room with you. The heating system barely kept up with mild 65 degrees I like my room at. Smokers passing by leave a terrible smoke smell that gets taken in by the heat/ac unit that is also facing this outside area. The icing on the cake is that the water park that attracted is for the kids is about a cold 1000ft walk in swimsuits on the way over and a frigid walk with crying, teeth chattering children on the way back. Grand Country also offers other "attractions," but these are additional costs. The kids and a couple adults went to the animal show. While I didn't personally attend they tell me that it was entertaining but not worth the money. There's a miniature golf course that we all enjoyed but for 12 players cost us 62 dollars with a coupon. It's my understanding there's more to see but we passed after the lack luster results on the prior. There are a few eating establishments associated with the property. The one at the "water park" was clean and
