"It's the best place we have ever stayed in Branson!!!"
July, 2017 NEW
This place is VERY family friendly! We stayed around the backside of building #2 and we felt very safe. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. We never had to leave the place! They have everything, we did not want to leave! Our room was so nice and very clean ( smelled great too!). Loved having a microwave and little fridge as well as a full size ironing board and iron! It felt like home away from home! We will be staying here every time we visit Branson! The staff at all the venues were very friendly and helpful!
Tip: Expect a long line at the 3:00p.m. check in time. But the service was pretty fast, we only stood in line for about 10 minutes. When we walked in and saw the long line, I thought it was going to take alot longer ! I was very impressed.

"Had a blast!!"
July, 2016
We absolutely LOVED our trip to Grand Country Inn. Over the course of our 5 day stay we only left the resort once! There was so much to do and experience right on the grounds. We have children 9,8 & 4 years old and the water parks were great for all of them. We felt the kids were well entertained and in a safe environment. The restaurant/concessions were reasonably priced so that also kept us from needing to venture out.
Tip: Check into the all inclusive options and maybe bring your own shampoo. The free shampoo provided isn't the greatest.

"Nice clean rooms."
July, 2016
The whole family had a great time staying at the Grand Country Inn. The water park was great for the kids, especially when it is 100 outside. Would stay at the Inn again with no hesitation.
Tip: Water park is on west side of facilities for those disabled and with small children.

"Nice place for kids"
June, 2016
This is a great place to take children for a vacation. The rooms were clean, the waterpark was nice and the arcade was a blast. My only complaint would be to add more chairs to the balconies. There isn't anywhere to sit outside and enjoy the evening.

"Ok, but needs some updating! "

This resort and water park is pretty nice but needs a lot of work. They were updating some of the rooms which is a good thing. We came in on Thursday night and the room we stayed in was outdated and just kind of gross. The next night we had a king suite with the bunk beds and it was much better!! The water park area is a little small. My girls 12 and 9 had a fun time in it and I didn't have to worry about them which was nice. I could see them everywhere they went In the water park . They definitely need more tables and chairs! The fun place was fun but a little dirty. Needs some new flooring and better signs. Go karts were really fun . The breakfast buffet was okay, but not great. They had basics like bacon, biscuits and gravy, eggs , toast , fruit and make your own omelette. Servers were awesome! I feel if they spent some money and just remodeled everything this place would be 5 star!!!

"Good, Clean Resort"

We got the King room with the clubhouse bunk beds. Rooms were clean and the bunk beds were great for our 2 and 4 year old. While the outdoor main pool worked well for my younger kids (though smaller than I anticipated), the rest of the resort was really for kids a little older. Would have been nice if there were an outdoor playspace or some way to let the little ones burn off energy. Overall, it was nice.

"Not great for teens or babies and wouldn't recommend in general."

We took our three kids (15,12,18mos) to the resort last weekend. The indoor waterpark isn't that great for teens or babies. It would be a lot more fun for 6-9 year old kids probably. Waterpark is misleading, because you assume there are pools of water at the waterpark. The deepest water in the indoor waterpark is the lazy river and hot tubs. Splash explains it best. Water is splashed everywhere, but gathers almost nowhere. You have to be a pretty active and self sufficient kiddo to enjoy it and stay kind of warm. The water is cold and since it's indoors, the sun doesn't provide value. We spent more time and had more fun at one of their (small) outdoor pools, which they have on the resort. Had I known these details, I would've chosen a cheaper hotel and then went to White Water. We stayed in a standard double queen, paid for a roll-away ($9/night) and the room was super cramped. The shower/toilet room is tiny for even 1 person. The buffet on-site looks like a decent size circle of choices, but it's mirrored with the same stuff on each side of the round buffet area, and the variety is lacking. We spent $60 for four there. It wasn't worth the money. The Fun Spot was dirty, run-down, and many of the games were out of order. Most games there are $1/play. The kids spent $20 in 5-10 minutes and came out with crappy prizes. I doubt I will ever go back to this resort.

We were upgraded to the new rooms with the bunk beds. Very nice and close to the water park. There is an up charge of $35 a day..not a problem..but I wasn't told/charged for this upfront.my issue was the late check in. It does clearly say 3:00 but we have always been able to get in by noon so that is how I packed. Our trip was Tuesday and Wednesday so I didn't think there would be a problem. We lost all of our food in the cooler since we could not get into our room until nearly 4. Great place little ones love it...but pack accordingly...
