When we arrived check in was between 3p-5p we arrived about 3:45pm our room wasn't ready which we had planned to change after arriving they said they would call when it was ready By the time 5pm came around still no call so we checked back in the room still wasn't ready. The hotel offers a lot but everything is so outdated including the room. There was a room that was left open all night until the next afternoon which was creepy. Next time I will definitely look into other properties
Very disappointed in the front desk staff, they mislead me when buying silver dollar city tickets. They told me if I buy the tickets there ( at hotel) we'd get a two day pass for the price of one. When we arrived at the park we discovered this to be untrue. The tickets were 8 dollars more a piece. We didn't have time to do a second day, because they told us it was the price of a one day I bought them. In Addition a front desk attendant told us we'd receive 25% off buffet with our stay, also untrue. Beds and pillows like sleeping on rocks. No free breakfast, coffee and tea ends about 9:00. Outlets didn't work. There are many option we will stay else where from now on.
Our kids had a blast and didn't want to leave. We got the room with separate bunk room. The water park is pretty cool (typical for indoor water park). I like that they had a seperate place inside and outside for the little one. I also love that the adults (even us at 200lbs) could go down the slides, it was so awesome. The lazy river was okay but could get crowded at times. They did have another indoor pool that was separate, it was clean but nothing special. I really enjoyed the room. It was clean, a little dated, but still nice enough. We would definitely stay here again. I loved that we parked the car and didn't have to drive anywhere the whole 2 nights we were in Branson. Is this a good honeymoon or adult vacation spot...........No. But it was a wonderful and memory filled stop for our family on our long journey across the country. The staff at every place we went to (show, buffet, putt putt, arcade, and restaurants) were always courteous and accommodating. You can tell this is a family owned place, they made us feel like they really care and were quick to fill our needs. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it is a little older and outdated.
We purchased two Groupon specials for this trip. Included 2 shows, 8 popcorn, 8 drinks, 2 large pizzas. We upgraded to the bunk bed room for $45 extra a night...the kids had fun with their own "little room" and tv, but I was surprised the whole room wasn't updated. Just the bunk bed room and bedding was new. The air conditioner sits on the ground under the window like older hotels but the thermostat knobs were missing. I went to the front desk and she said all the rooms were like that, and the thermostat was on the wall...that was strange. Shows were excellent, especially the pet show! Waterpark was small but fun, the changing room was pretty gross though... wet towels all over the floor, no showers, dirty toilets. The Water park is in a separate building you have to walk to...bring your own towel because you can't leave with the pool towels. Restaurants were good and decent priced. Nice gift shops too. We will definitely visit again.
