Very polite and personable staff. The accommodations were immaculately clean and well kept. The food was "over the top" delicious! Loved the "sweet shop"! The pool staff was so friendly, served ice water, cold towels and cool face spray. The spa was wonderful, staff so kind and polite. Would definitely recommend!

"Nice getaway"

Impossible to get any type of spa appointment more than a week ahead of our visit. The towels in our room were very shabby, worn, edges were frayed. Please throw them out! Pool was great; wait staff was wonderful. Lots of restaurants. Food was good.

"Great rest"

Did a quick weekend getaway with our dog. Due to a snag our room was delayed, they took our dog to reservation desk and kept her there so we could eat. Room was lovely. Beautiful rooms, be sure to ask for one with a balcony. Too hot to enjoy outdoor pool, but plenty to do otherwise. Gym nice, movie area in lower level. Food delicious at restaurants. Great time

Our family really enjoyed this resort -- the food and bed and lake view were really special, but the service made the experience extraordinary. All the staff were so helpful and pleasant. Two pools, four restaurants, spa, kids activities, and more. We will visit again!

"Overall Disappointment"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed July 26, 2016 NEW

My family was disappointed in this hotel. It is over hyped. We have stayed at luxurious hotels all over the US and this one just didn't live up. Staff at the front office was friendly but it took a long time to get checked in. Hotel lobby is very esthetic so I had high expectations of the room. This is where things went south. We upgraded to a one bedroom. It was small and laid out oddly. The bathroom was hard to move around it. It had the old style tub/shower combination with very little water pressure. Toiletries were cheap and didn't include mouthwash or the other little luxuries you usually get when you stay in a room in this price range. Room felt clean but old. Bed was comfortable once we removed the bedspread. It was the old ones that you rarely see in hotels anymore. You know the kind they like to look at under black light in exposé pieces. I prefer the coverlets that get washed. Without a ceiling fan in the bedroom, a blanket was not needed. We could not find any extra pillows for the pull out couch so we had to steal one off the bed. Luckily, my son brought his own blanket. We were on the top floor. The hotel is very open which allows sound to travel. We had children in our hallway running and playing guns. It was good to see them having fun but all the noise got old quickly. This hotel has a lot of amenities for the kids. I was going to check my son into the kid center but it was closed when we walked down there. Pools looked nice. They were very crowded. The fitness center was definitely put together by someone who knows nothing about lifting or fitness. They had a couple large single function machines. No free weights. No cable machine. No all in one gyms. No way were we going to be able to get a good workout in that place.
