Tip: The restaurant in the hotel only takes cash so bring cash! Some of the guests children were too rowdy. The life guards had to constantly get onto them so parents teach your kids how to behave in public please. My poor daughter almost got knocked over or splashed so many times.

The rooms were alot nicer than expected and the Waterpark was a lot of fun. The outside part was closed but that part is a small area compared to the inside park. We had a lot of fun and are planning to come back soon!

"It made me rate 1 star but I give it a negative 5 star.."

The worst vacation I've ever been on, not only was my wallet stolen with in 10 minutes of walking in to this hotel but only people at at time of theft, was me and desk clerk. Then the remainder of stay we were treated as if we did something wrong. Then charges to my debit card from hotel started popping up. Apparently since 2012 there has been a long line of theft going on.bWe were so disrespected by staff and management.

"Branson with 4 kids!!!!"

Castle Rock is the place to take your kids if you are staying in Branson!!! The indoor pool was awesome, and the life guards were more than on point with watching each and every inch of the pool and the kids while they played.

Tip: Food at the resturant on property was not the best but you do get a coupon to use, there is not a bar on site for adults but they do have a balcony area where the adults gathered after a full day

We have went here a few times. Kids enjoyed it. There is always one thing in the place that you can not use. But there is alot to do. I do wish there was more food options we would probably stay longer. great time for winter.

My kids enjoyed themselves but the chlorine was very over powering....I did not like the tower restaurant in the hotel. The pizza was overpriced and was not very good. Overall it was a good time for the kids though.

"One night stay"
March, 2015
We stayed here for one night. We had reserved 2 rooms and once we arrived we discovered we were actually 2 buildings down from the hotel with the water park. So we had to walk across parking lots to get to the indoor water park. Rooms were average. one room had a fridge and microwave and the other didnt. Inconsistent with their layout. We were told that castle rock had bought out the motel we stayed in. we were able to park right in front of our door. So that was okay. The water park is okay for the kiddos just be ready to inhale a lot of chlorine.

"Very disappointed - NYE trip"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5
Reviewed January 02, 2018
We had a group of 13 and 4 rooms total. Check-in took 30+ minutes. Between the 4 rooms, we had 4 rolls of toilet paper and 4 bath towels. At one point we asked house keeping for more towels and was informed the hotel was running short of them and we could not get any more. Eventually, the front desk did provide us with 2 more for each room. We stayed during new years eve. We were never told at booking that we would have to pay an additional $30 per person for the water park the night of new years eve. When we booked the rooms, we were informed that the rate of the rooms were increased because of the NYE party, but again, the price of the water park was never mentioned. We were not expecting that since our room included the water park. The rooms were somewhat clean, 3 out 5. The shower leaked 24/7 and was difficult to get working properly. Overall, not please with the service we received. I planned on explaining all this out check out when you are typically asked by the employee how your stay was, but all I got was a "you are good to go". I do not think we will be staying here ever again.

"Great Family friendly hotel"

We booked at Castle Rock for the day after Christmas for 3 nights. From the moment we arrived and checked in to having to leave a day early because of bad weather back home it was awesome. The property isn't the Ritz's but it is family centered and if I owned a property that a ton of kids were going to be staying at I would do the same. It was neat and tidy, the staff was super and all 7 adults/8 kids (5-14) in our group had a blast. Any requests that was made were taken care of quickly. The hotel was perfect for letting kids act like kids. The waterpark was a bonus. It had something for everybody. They had lifeguards that took there jobs seriously so the adults didn't feel like they had to watch the children every minute for the swimmers to be safe.

"Don't let the other reviews scare you away"

We decided to stay here because our kids are too young for many activities in Branson so the waterpark gave them something to do. We have been to Grand Country and were very happy, but with the weather predicted to be in the 30s we didn't want to have to walk outside after swimming so we chose a tower room here. The room is fine. Nothing fancy, but met our expectations for a family stay, and the kids like having their own bunks. We got scared when reading other reviews that the water was cold and the park might be closed. The lazy river was down, but our 7 and 5 year olds still had plenty of fun on the 2 big slides and our 2 and 4 year olds enjoyed the shallow pools and kids' slides. The water was plenty warm even for adults who didnt want to swim, and you could feel the heated water coming from the jets. The park was warm enough inside to sit comfortably in the water and walking back up to the room was much better than having to load into our vehicle wet or walk outside to another building. We have also been to Great Wolf Lodge multiple times. While you can't really compare the two, the prices don't exactly compare either. We felt the value was right for the added activity of the fully indoor waterpark. The hours were 10-10 so we had plenty of time to swim.

"Very disappointing stay in Branson!"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed December 23, 2017
The water park has very limited hours not opening till 1 during our stay in December. The rooms accommodate 6 people but we were told maid service was only allowed to leave 3 towels, that doesn't even cover for room occupancy. It was also very very loud throughout the night both nights of our stay and the first night the hotel was nearly vacant. To top off the lack luster stay we had a roach crawling up our wall the last morning of our stay. Given the cleanliness of the hotel and the high price for staying in the tower I HIGHLY suggest looking for a different hotel in town, the water park really isn't worth the other lesser accommodations.

"Stay Away. Very disappointing room and staff"

So I booked a specific room type via Tripadvisor/Expedia for a reason. Not what I got. What I received was a handicapped accessible version of that room type. They did not ask if this was ok or even communicate this at check-in. So we could not shower, due to the handheld sprayer being at wheelchair height. When lifting the sprayer to attempt to shower (on my knees) the entire rail it connects to fell off the shower wall...slicing my hand open! And yes, of course it was covered in mold on the inside. What is even worse is we were staying for the whole weekend and the front desk lady was soooo lazy, unfriendly and low-class that we were afraid to even complain until we were gone. Pedestal sink has zero counter space to get ready. The carpet is filthy. Your bare feet will turn black. Not a clean hotel overall. Breakfast buffet is about 1.5 stars. Nothing special, but ok in a pinch. Now to the parking. We parked on the side of the hotel and had to unload our children 10 ft from 2 of their waterpark lifeguards blowing cigarette smoke in our direction. Then later our car was blocked in...not by another guest, but by a lazy front desk employee that was parked in a driving lane, not a parking space! We did not go to the attached waterpark. So can't comment on it. I never write reviews, but I can't express how disappointed I was with this hotel and Expedia. You should at least get the room you book. I should not have tried Expedia this time to save a few bucks. I'll be using my normal booking site from now on.
