"Amazing time!"

Check in was easy. The rooms were clean and amazing. The restaurant in the hotel was delicious everyone was so friendly! The pools were great! The waterpark was fun!
Tip: The restaurant in the hotel only takes cash so bring cash! Some of the guests children were too rowdy. The life guards had to constantly get onto them so parents teach your kids how to behave in public please. My poor daughter almost got knocked over or splashed so many times.

"Enjoyed it"

The rooms were alot nicer than expected and the Waterpark was a lot of fun. The outside part was closed but that part is a small area compared to the inside park. We had a lot of fun and are planning to come back soon!
Tip: It's important to know that you can play at the Waterpark before check-in the day of and after you checkout.

"It made me rate 1 star but I give it a negative 5 star.."

The worst vacation I've ever been on, not only was my wallet stolen with in 10 minutes of walking in to this hotel but only people at at time of theft, was me and desk clerk. Then the remainder of stay we were treated as if we did something wrong. Then charges to my debit card from hotel started popping up. Apparently since 2012 there has been a long line of theft going on.bWe were so disrespected by staff and management.
Tip: Do not stay in this hotel or plan on being stolen from and treated like trash...

"Branson with 4 kids!!!!"
October, 2015
Castle Rock is the place to take your kids if you are staying in Branson!!! The indoor pool was awesome, and the life guards were more than on point with watching each and every inch of the pool and the kids while they played.
Tip: Food at the resturant on property was not the best but you do get a coupon to use, there is not a bar on site for adults but they do have a balcony area where the adults gathered after a full day

"Good place"

We have went here a few times. Kids enjoyed it. There is always one thing in the place that you can not use. But there is alot to do. I do wish there was more food options we would probably stay longer. great time for winter.

My kids enjoyed themselves but the chlorine was very over powering....I did not like the tower restaurant in the hotel. The pizza was overpriced and was not very good. Overall it was a good time for the kids though.
Tip: The chlorine is very strong make plans to eat elsewhere.

"One night stay"
March, 2015
We stayed here for one night. We had reserved 2 rooms and once we arrived we discovered we were actually 2 buildings down from the hotel with the water park. So we had to walk across parking lots to get to the indoor water park. Rooms were average. one room had a fridge and microwave and the other didnt. Inconsistent with their layout. We were told that castle rock had bought out the motel we stayed in. we were able to park right in front of our door. So that was okay. The water park is okay for the kiddos just be ready to inhale a lot of chlorine.
Tip: don't expect to stay at the building with the water park.

"Not impressed..."
March, 2015
We had heard great things about this hotel from friends. But when we arrived we were not impressed at all. We ended up being in an anex room (which is an older hotel that Castle Rock bought and renovated). For $160 per night I expected a nicer room, anex or not. I had to put the AC back together because the casing was falling off. The room would not stay cool unless the ac was on the highest fan speed and coldest air. We had to walk across the parking lot to get to the water park area. Once in the water park, they had a large kiddie pool closed for maintenance so my 4 yr old didn't really have anywhere to swim. Again for the price I was expecting a larger water park. I wasn't expecting something as large as Great Wolf, but somewhere in between maybe. We love going to Great Wold Lodge, and I would much rather go there next time.
Maybe the experience is different if you actually get to stay in the main hotel area... but still in don't think we will return to find out. We'll just go to white water next time we're in Branson (which is about 3 times a year)!

Stayed at Castle Rock over Springbreak. Wish I had read reviews before booking. Kids were so excited because of the indoor water park. We go to check in and the lady at the front desk says that we reserved a room for 3 people instead of 5 and charged us an additional $60.00. As we were finding our room number we find out that it is located down the hill in this trailer park type building. After spending $180.00 a night we spoke with the front desk and asked about the Tower building and she told us it would be another additional $60.00. The beds were hard, ice machine was out of order, WiFi was down, waterpark area was rusty, and the arcade was a joke. Will not stay at Castle Rock again.

We have stayed at Castle Rock 3-4 times simply because of the attached indoor water park and family friendly rooms with bunk beds. With that said, they advertise Wi-fi which is very spotty and often can only be accessed in their main lobby. Today, they said the Wi-fi is down and I'm working online through my smartphone. Why they cannot improve this in the past 3 years is beyond me. The water park is fairly nice overall and the kids have enjoyed it. The beds are full size and not the most comfortable. The carpet also seems somewhat hammered, likely due to all of the swimming, but it should be updated. I have not eaten at their restaurant, but it doesn't look that good. I'm not sure it is worth the price and will probably not stay here again. It is probably best for younger children 12 and under.

The indoor waterpark is fun for the kiddos. However, every kid in the place stomps & runs from the elevator to their room. One of the lifeguards told my child to say something mean & unprofessional to another lifeguard. I reported it and he was fired. I'm glad they handled it and hope it was an exception to the norm. Restaurant breakfast buffet isn't very good but front desk personnel were kind and accommodating.

My daughter, grandsons, and I arrived here an hour after check in time and the room wasn't ready for starters. Nonetheless, we came because of the indoor water park only to be disappointed with the room. We received a there star room at a five star price. To top it all off, the room was down. the hill and across the parking lot away from the building the water park is in. Then, it doesn't smell clean. It has a musty smell. I would not recommend this hotel if one is looking for a five star rating.

This hotel is a piece of garbage. The biggest garbage dump in the world. First it took us an 1 1/2 hours to check in after check in time.. Then they charged me an extra $20 because I had an extra person.. The hotel is advertised as a 4 star hotel and when u get here the room is not fit for a hooker... The beds are hard, they charge $10 extra for frig and microwave after I had paid $180 per night... terrible.. the sheets had hair in them, the room smelled funky. We were put in an old motel 6 and charged us for a Marriott hotel. No free breakfast. WiFi doesn't stay connected.. Never again in history.. this hotel banks off tourists... They suck entirely.. Horrible horrible horrible But the one girl at the front desk was nice and kids enjoyed the water park. Rip off!
