"Amazing time!"

Check in was easy. The rooms were clean and amazing. The restaurant in the hotel was delicious everyone was so friendly! The pools were great! The waterpark was fun!
Tip: The restaurant in the hotel only takes cash so bring cash! Some of the guests children were too rowdy. The life guards had to constantly get onto them so parents teach your kids how to behave in public please. My poor daughter almost got knocked over or splashed so many times.

"Enjoyed it"

The rooms were alot nicer than expected and the Waterpark was a lot of fun. The outside part was closed but that part is a small area compared to the inside park. We had a lot of fun and are planning to come back soon!
Tip: It's important to know that you can play at the Waterpark before check-in the day of and after you checkout.

"It made me rate 1 star but I give it a negative 5 star.."

The worst vacation I've ever been on, not only was my wallet stolen with in 10 minutes of walking in to this hotel but only people at at time of theft, was me and desk clerk. Then the remainder of stay we were treated as if we did something wrong. Then charges to my debit card from hotel started popping up. Apparently since 2012 there has been a long line of theft going on.bWe were so disrespected by staff and management.
Tip: Do not stay in this hotel or plan on being stolen from and treated like trash...

"Branson with 4 kids!!!!"
October, 2015
Castle Rock is the place to take your kids if you are staying in Branson!!! The indoor pool was awesome, and the life guards were more than on point with watching each and every inch of the pool and the kids while they played.
Tip: Food at the resturant on property was not the best but you do get a coupon to use, there is not a bar on site for adults but they do have a balcony area where the adults gathered after a full day

We have went here a few times. Kids enjoyed it. There is always one thing in the place that you can not use. But there is alot to do. I do wish there was more food options we would probably stay longer. great time for winter.

My kids enjoyed themselves but the chlorine was very over powering....I did not like the tower restaurant in the hotel. The pizza was overpriced and was not very good. Overall it was a good time for the kids though.
Tip: The chlorine is very strong make plans to eat elsewhere.

"One night stay"
March, 2015
We stayed here for one night. We had reserved 2 rooms and once we arrived we discovered we were actually 2 buildings down from the hotel with the water park. So we had to walk across parking lots to get to the indoor water park. Rooms were average. one room had a fridge and microwave and the other didnt. Inconsistent with their layout. We were told that castle rock had bought out the motel we stayed in. we were able to park right in front of our door. So that was okay. The water park is okay for the kiddos just be ready to inhale a lot of chlorine.
Tip: don't expect to stay at the building with the water park.

"Not impressed..."
March, 2015
We had heard great things about this hotel from friends. But when we arrived we were not impressed at all. We ended up being in an anex room (which is an older hotel that Castle Rock bought and renovated). For $160 per night I expected a nicer room, anex or not. I had to put the AC back together because the casing was falling off. The room would not stay cool unless the ac was on the highest fan speed and coldest air. We had to walk across the parking lot to get to the water park area. Once in the water park, they had a large kiddie pool closed for maintenance so my 4 yr old didn't really have anywhere to swim. Again for the price I was expecting a larger water park. I wasn't expecting something as large as Great Wolf, but somewhere in between maybe. We love going to Great Wold Lodge, and I would much rather go there next time.
Maybe the experience is different if you actually get to stay in the main hotel area... but still in don't think we will return to find out. We'll just go to white water next time we're in Branson (which is about 3 times a year)!

We made my daughter's 4th birthday into a weekend getaway. The waterpark was perfect! The room had little lightning, but other than that, the bed comfy, big enough for 4, and it was in walking distance from the waterpark. We had a blast for staying 2 nights

There were some good things about this place but was all erased when they did not hold true to what they offered to us on the phone. We purchased a 1 night promotion for a night stay in the atrium rooms and 4 indoor water park passes. We wanted to stay an extra night but not use the water park. The lady on the phone said she would give us both nights at the same rate of 69.99/night. When we checked in I noticed the bill was higher than it was suppose to be and I pointed it out. The lady told me that was normal price showing on sheet of paper to not pay attention to that, I had the promotion price. Then when we checked out and it had the second night at $139 I told them I wanted a receipt showing what would be charged to my credit card. The lady told me that was the correct amount. I explained to her it was offered at 69.99 for each night. She said there was no way she could give me a room for that rate out of the promotion. I told here we would have stayed somewhere else if I was going to pay that much for the room because the room was not worth that rate. She did reduce it to $99 but that was not what was promised to me on the phone. I ask her if the name of the person was in the computer that took my reservation. She said it was but unfortunately that person did not work there anymore. i ask her again, so you are not going to offer what was quoted to me and take a bad review on tripadvisor. Her reply: that is correct.

We have stayed at the Castle Rock Resort many many times. I have reviewed them a few times as well and we have always had a great experience. Not this time. For the first time ever I was able to arrange all of my children and grandchildren to vacation with us.the call to set up the reservation was rude checking in rude. Simply uncalled for behavior. We couldn't get our bands before 1 even though we did not need our rooms. I have always been able to at least have the bands..actually our room was always ready. Sharon was training when we arrived and I was put off by her treatment of the trainees. She was rude to my husband..wouldn't even let him finish his sentence before she snapped the answer. The water park looked nice after the renovation but the rooms are not clean anymore it has gone down hill. There are too many places to choose from. Our family will never stay here again and I will pass the word along. There is no reason to be rude to customers when they are just asking questions

We didn't get to the room or amenities...on making a reservation this afternoon for my son-in-law, twin grandsons and myself for a break from the rain we were told by the manager, Sharon, that it was ok for him to check in at the usual time and go ahead and pay for the room whiles I was to arrive later...On arrival he was told that because he was a "local",....by definition of hotel management living less than 30 miles from Branson....that he could not pay for the room or occupy it until I was present to check in..... I would not recommend this place to anyone....

This is a great indoor waterpark! It is not as loud as other indoor waterparks I have visited, and it is much larger. We also enjoyed the family room which featured two double beds and, in a separate room, two bunk beds. A modestly priced restaurant is attached to the restaurant, which we also enjoyed. Make the kids happy and book a room here!
