"affordable place"

The staff was very nice. Breakfast was good. Tried the ice cream one night and it would have been nice but old retired folks are worse than a bunch of kids pushing and shoving and spilling it on others. Air conditioner was very loud but had to have it on.
Tip: Don't let them put you in a room by the elevator.

"Very Nice Place To Stay."
August, 2015
Our room was on the ground floor as we had requested and we had no noise from the rooms above us. Room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but best part of stay had to be the cobbler with ice cream and fresh baked cookies after the evening shows. Will definitely stay here again.

"This was a great place to stay!"
July, 2015
This is the cleanest motel I have ever stayed in. The room was comfortable, lots of nice soft pillows. I would for sure stay here again and have recommended it to others already.
Tip: There is only one elevator so if you have a handicap request either a ground floor or close to elevator.

"Very Clean hotel"
March, 2015
I have a huge phobia of dirty motels. So I had a hard time deciding on a place to stay. I read all the reviews and of course they are all mixed... I chose this one and I am glad I did. The room (and sheets) were very clean. We had a fridge in the room. The pie and cookies were a nice touch and the breakfast was great! We will be back!
Tip: Don't believe the negative reviews! It is a great place to stay!

"Great value and great location"
March, 2015
Made my reservation using ReserveDirect and the room choice displayed was a queen room which was fine. Within an hour, the hotel called me apologizing that they did not have a queen room available, would it be ok to upgrade us to their king suite? Yeah!! Our suite was very nice with a comfortable bed but the best thing was the help from the manager who gave us advice on how to get to the Dixie Stampede to avoid traffic and told us be sure and go early to watch the preshow. I felt like they just couldn't do enough to make our stay great - and it was. Very happy with the price of the package we chose.
Tip: The hotel is doing some renovations so may not have all rooms available. Be sure to go down at 9 pm for warm cobbler and ice cream!

I feel compelled to write a review for the sake of people like me who felt taken aback by the reality after relying on the glowing reviews. After many years and numerous experiences, this was the first time my husband and I felt betrayed by the TripAdvisor community. 1) This is not a hotel. It is a motel; as in cars parked right outside your only windows. 2) The vast majority of the 4/5 star reviews are basing their entire experience on one thing - PRICE. Every one of those reviewers only cares about the PRICE. The place is cheap, yes. That's it. It's less expensive than many other hotels in Branson. You get what you pay for, nothing more. Don't be fooled. 3) It's a room - No, it's not that clean. No, it doesn't look that recently renovated. It's not light or bright. It's dark. 4) The breakfast is not good - fake eggs, some store-bought donuts. I could not even find plain oatmeal (sorry, those packets are not a healthy option). The breakfast was several notches down from a Hampton Inn type of breakfast, which isn't that great to begin with. Breakfast at BB was not worth $3. The breakfast space was crowded and dingy. 5) The staff did not even interact with our group - what is all that glowing language about staff about? The whole place felt like an institution to me. I would not stay here again. I would pay a little more for a nicer place to rest my head.

This was our second stay at Branson's Best, and we found it was at least up to par with our previous visit. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable, carpet vacuumed, and shower/toilet/sink very clean. Nothing fancy but it certainly was a good bargain. The hotel offers both free breakfast and a free evening "snack." The breakfast is tasty, the standard fare usually available: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, cold cereals, envelopes of oatmeal cereal, fresh fruit, and Kristy Kreme donuts. Coffee, tea, and a couple of juices were available to drink. In the evening the hotel serves a couple of types of cobblers and a couple of types of cookies. Both are fresh and quite tasty. Also, soft serve ice cream. The only downside was the lack of variety in the foods served. For guests who stay more than one night, it can become a bit boring.

I was at this facility with a motorcoach group in November. Hospitality at Branson's Best is second to none. The hotel is an older style hotel but they have gone thru and renovated and updated the rooms. We stayed two nights and had an excellent stay. Adequate room for motorcoach parking. The pie/ice cream served at the end of the evening is always a treat! Not an upscale place...but then again...you aren't paying for an upscale place! Def stay at Branson's Best again!
